When we were growing up in the early 70's his greatest hits Jeromi was ruling the air wave whenever we hear the song on the radio which was own by my uncle, we will all gathered to listen to this great man. Great man of our time Prof. Sir Victor Uwaifo. RIP.

I was brought up seeing him almost every day with his red car Nd out side of his first house in off omoruyi street ogida , he will put his guitar at back sit of his car Nd we will be running after his car Nd singing IF U SEE MAMI WATER NAVER NAVER RUN AWAY,he will be laughing Nd we all we touch his hand ,he love children so much ,Always slow down with his car so we can touch him Nd his red car, I will miss him .Nice one bro xiant destiny.may his soul rest in bolson of the lord Amen.

How could anyone growing up in Nigeria in the early 60s not love Pa, Maestro, Prof. Dr. Sir Victor Uwaifor? His music waking us up every morning blaring on my Great Grandfather’s “REDUFFISION or REDIFUSSION”” back in the days. I never met Sir Uwaifor in person but I love him like a family member of mine. May his soul rest in power. Amen.

This guy has the guitar mastery to step up to fill a small part of the Legend's shoe but he must write, compose, arrange and deliver his own songs and album to set himself apart as an apostle of the Uwaifo. Most musicians will keep playing Uwaifos song but those that graduate into their greatness will earn their name eventually.
