Nice speakers

The Tribit Maxsound Plus is where sound meets modest budget... at $40 this is one sleek little monster. Being slim, it is very portable and is not bad looking either. It may not live up to it's 24W claim but it is loud enough. The battery may not live up to claims but it's fine. it takes about 4 hours to charge and will give you 5 hours playtime at 60% volume. it is balanced for good bright recordings so it will sound slightly short on treble on recordings that are below par. Bass is tight and the mids are rich and full. I have not dunked it in water but it is rated IPX7 by Tribit. To better this speaker, youll have to spend $70-80. The Anker Soundcore Motion + is fabulous for $80 and the Doss Soundbox XL is excellent for $70. There must be others but I can vouch for these 2, as per comparisons with known big brand speakers. Remember though, they are not as compact as the Maxsound Plus. The JBL Flip 4 is very good but at $90 it isn't really competition. If you like the looks of the Tribit Maxsound Plus, buy it. Else the Stormbox. **** 4 stars. ½ off for the battery and ½ off for the highs. Unbelievable value!
