oh man the amount of fights me and others got into with people who were completely flaming the promotions WHEN HOBI HIMSELF SAID HE CHOSE EVERYTHING??? i understand the anger at the distribution thats fine but literally till the DAY BEFORE this suchwita episode i saw commenrs of people saying the company sabotaged hobi by releasing the physical album late

27:10 Jungkook wasn't a trained dancer like Jimin and Jhope. He just learned it as a trainee and we all know he's someone who's naturally a great learner. Jungkook was also sent to America with their dance choreographer to learn dancing as they decided to take the most potential trainee with them(it was mentioned in American hustle life that he was the only one to had went there before)

Jungkook didn’t have a background in dance before joining as a trainee at Bighit either! He learnt dance only while being a trainee (even went to the U.S. for a dance bootcamp for a month). But jhope and jimin had dance background before joining Bighit as a trainee. :)

It does upset me a bit that the boys notice that there are some fans who are ungrateful and constantly complain about how much content we receive, even though we’re already incredibly lucky that BTS care about us so much that they try to give us lots of content, lots more than any other music artist. I think we should be grateful for everything they give us and never ask for anything more, because they already work so hard. I’m sad that Hoseok felt like his phenomenal album and promotions weren’t enough for us. They were more than enough. I love that album with all my heart, and the fact that he oversaw the entire creative process on his own should be more than enough for ARMYs. He put his heart and soul into that album, and sometimes the fact that BTS are in this overlap between musician and idol means they have to work twice as hard to be both - to make their music personal and write and produce, and to also dance and make socialmedia content for fans. It’s a lot.

Saying he's barely scratched the surface doesn't even begin to explain how much he's heard so far. But all in due time of course🙄 can't wait til he gets to everything but it'll most likely take until they come back before he gets to where we are now by this rate😂. It’s true, only j-hope and jimin had formal dance training when they joined bighit. I think jk may have danced for fun before, but he only started actual lessons as a trainee (same with singing, it’s super impressive!) It’s perfect timing that you started american hustle life now, because the burritos they were talking about (when suga was considering running away) happened while they were filming ahl. Several members have said before that summer 2014 was the toughest time in their career… can’t imagine filming a reality show and writing/recording an album within a 2 week time span in a foreign country. (I was shocked hearing him say the wish out loud too haha! I was taught you blow the candle out first, and have to think your wish SILENTLY in the time it takes for the visible smoke to disappear, otherwise it won’t come true 😂)

As much as I absolutely LOVE this episode, it really makes me so mad/sad how hobi solos trended tags on twitter for MONTHS demanding physicals and downplaying all the hard work hobi put into his solo release and now that we’re finally getting physicals, they have amnesia about how they yelled and criticized him

Jungkook also started dancing from scratch during his trainee years (he trained for around 3 years)! He just had a natural talent for it. At one point he even went on a short trip to the US for a dance apprenticeship. Basically the combination of being around Jimin and Hoseok and having to train constantly for their debut meant that Jungkook blossomed into an amazing dancer! During pre-debut he even preferred dancing over singing. It became a passion of his naturally. He’s just that talented what more can I say 🤷

Also I have no idea why their song Danger was a "flop", it's literally one of the best BTS songs ever, easily like top 10 material. One of their best dance choreos too. People must have been braindead back then, cause nowadays their Dark and Wild album is one of their most loved albums and highly regarded. Can't wait for you to get to it! -feb 17th 'jhope in the box' came out on disney+ its about the making process of jack in the box and behind the scenes of lollapalooza -in 2024 'hope on the street' is coming out with an 6 song ost album. -an ost album is the songs that are going to be in the documentary. (like when you hear a song in a show or game, those are original soundtracks/ost songs.) ex; -the planet by bts in 'bastions', -christmas tree by tae in 'our beloved summer', -sweet night by tae in 'itaewon class', -with you by jimin and ha sungwoon in 'our blues' -its definitely you by tae and jin in 'hwarang' -stay alive by jungkook and prod by suga in '7fates: chakho'

ppl were being mad annoying ab jitb initial release. see the issue was that the people who were the loudest n most aggressive were solos and they reasoned that their outrage was because hybe forced hoseok to only release the wv album and lp. when in reality the real issue was that hybe didn’t proceed with hoseok’s plan the best they could. acting like hoseok couldn’t have possibly had a reason for planning it the way he did 😭 just a bunch of stupidity all around honestly

Sure but i think what Loui saw was Armys calling out the way some people reacted to the actual physical album release, because most & the biggest part of the complaining started when we first found out it was going to be a Weverse album without a CD, solos (& some armys as well tbh) were spreading so much misinformation (which really hurt the entire release & sales as well) & being pretty damn awful about the whole thing, it's upsetting because even now there's still so many people who refuse to recognize just how hurtful they were towards him, his work and his efforts back then

There were DEFINITELY issues with the rollout for JITB. I'm not a solo stan at all. But there wasn't even a digital store for his album until two days until the end of tracking day. The weverse album wasn't available to purchase in all countries and for a lot, shipping was prohibitively expensive. There was no education about what a weverse album was or what the platform looked like for streaming or how the sales and streams would be counted (if at all). The problem was that the album itself was so inaccessible for so many fans in so many places. Also, BigHit didn't do any of it's most basic promo--changing the layout of the official pages, providing a description of what you were purchasing when you bought the album on Weverse (there are usually pictures and desciriptions but there were none--the vinyl STILL just has a generic placeholder instead of an image). None of that is j-hope's responsibility. It's HYBE's (or BigHit's). It's marketing and distribution. Now we know it happened like that because it was a rush job. Back then, we were panicked. We didn't know how to support him with sales which is ARMYs go-to. SugaArmy (a youtube editor whose videos you watch frequently) put out a poll asking if ARMYs planned to buy the weverse album...78% of 83,000 ARMYs said "No." So I was very firmly on the "HYBE fucked up the rollout of Jack In The Box badly" side. And I'm not a solo stan in the slightest. I literally just wanted to support Hobi and his hard work and had no idea how and was frustrated that so many ARMYs just shrugged and said "whatever" or worse, demonized ARMYs who were like "what is going on???" So, respectfully, please understand that Twitter is an echo chamber where nuance and middle ground is lost. There were respectable, informed, well-intentioned ARMYs who were very upset with the JITB rollout. Despite what some self-righteous, ALL-CAPS keyboard crusaders might tell you.

Also, there was no access for the vinyl in several countries-SK wouldn’t ship to Europe, some parts of S America and India. No global access ie. Target, Walmart, etc. If you cannot buy it…how can you truly support it. There was a boatload of hinky stuff. Just know that the artists control their concepts, their performance and their promos:appearances. THEY ARE NOT IN MANAGEMENT. They are not in marketing. They do not foot the bill for stages, staff, camera crew, back up dancers, etc. BigHit dropped the ball on the first one out of Chapter Two, and are just now catching up. I’m so glad you are seeing this episode. Charming, certainly, and they are the best hypemen for projects. This was filmed on February 17th, delayed like Jin’s, and there is a 2nd verse to On The Street that Hobi was prepared to release if Cole’s part didn’t make it…It is stellar btw. Check out Jay Park-Drive Hobi’s last public performance before enlistment. Epic versions of On The Street, More, Arson, Chicken Noodle Souo, Dynamite remix and Butter remix. I’m truly blessed and excited to have the Jack In The Box album ordered. The man was writing, producing, filming, editing and supporting his brothers. He deserves another look and listen to his masterpiece-HOPE-Edition. It is very satisfying to see your reaction to revelations, and know you are very well able to see below the surface with these talented men.

In my opinion, the best way to show support would have been to appreciate the music and be genuinely thankful for Hobi's efforts. I saw that some individuals were quite vocal, but instead of expressing how amazing the album was, they seemed more concerned about numbers and records. It's understandable that we want to show how much we support our artist, but I believe that addressing distribution issues or other concerns should be done through formal complaints to BH, rather than relying on hashtags and online discourse, which can sometimes cause more harm than good. Thankfully, there are various ways we can support BTS as artists, buying a physical album is one of them but not the only one. I just hope that in the future, people can be more conscious of how their demands as fans can impact the artists, because it's still disheartening to see Hobi carrying some regrets due to the noise made by some "keyboard warriors". I just say let's try to focus on celebrating the music and supporting BTS in ways that are positive and respectful of their hard work and dedication.

He's releasing 'Hope On The Street' documentary which I think is about street dance. Along with that he'll release an OST Album which will be the Original Soundtrack for the 'Hope on the Street' documentary This is how I interpreted.

If you have time, I recommend reading “Beyond the Story” which just came out on Army day, the 9th. The book tells their stories from pre-debut days and how they have been reflecting their stories of struggles and growth in their music. You will appreciate not only their music but them as human beings.

About the JITB sabotage or should I say solos spreading misinfo bout the rollout Like some months ago news was circulating of HYBE partaking in NFT which ppl protested against (not too sure if they re still doing it but it has died down) so Hobi releasing his album as a digital on a new app was a surprise. Solos who mostly stan one member and most times hate the other members and company, also like to play saviour of their fav and always believe the guys are mistreated spread false rumours bout d album. Saying Hybe forced Hobi to partake in NFT and weverse album to test out their new theory or app. Yh it was a sudden change in album release but they spun it in a way that the money is not going to Hobi and tried all means to stop the buying of weverse album and sabotage sales in hopes that they will force the company or rather Hobi since he planned everything himself to release a physical. Sure there are still problems like late distribution, happened for Indigo too and the company isnt fast enough to provide digital shops and restock singles but the guys have said times over again they re the ones controlling their album rollout. Hobi also expressed his disappointment in ppls reaction to him not dancing and the album release that it was his own decisions but Solo stans always believe they know the best for the members and try to spin their words into something else. Saying they must leave the company and such. No other entertainment company can provide BTS the freedom and respect they need and they built up that company so its their right to stay and the company should improve their work. Solos also think the guys will leave the group due to their potential during releasing solo albums forcing the theory BTS don't like each other. For people that claim they love the guys they sure have a weird fantasy of wanting the guys to be mistreated and hating their loved ones and members. Also weverse album sound quality is the best of all streaming sites, it's clear and sounds straight out of the studio maybe cus its the same company but its damn nice I've learnt this chapter 2 to believe the guys words, pray and wish good things for them always Still dont know ppl sick fantasy to break up a good group like One Direction western industry involved too
