Being Mexicano and having spent much time in the Middle East I always appreciated the respect they had for Mexico. In the states where I’m from most people do not know what I am but Im Afghanistan the locals yelled out “Mexico!!” When I came by. I loved how kind and respectful they were and they had their own beautiful culture

I believe in the Muslim faith dogs are seen as a filthy animal. It actually increases problems with animal welfare. Though I know of many Muslims in Oz, who have little house dogs they love, but many won't allow dogs in house at all.

It's fine, Mehboob, I'm not a fan of chiles nogadas either. Rellenos are another matter, though. I LOVE that you featured pozole, but the red kind usually is made with pork or beef, understandably not for these folks. Green pozole is normally what contains chicken or turkey (and I make exactly that ever November 1st).

Let's not forget that in the early stages of this channel it was mentioned that they can't get a ahold of most of the authentic ingredients needed to make a dish. Chiles en nogada = meh even for us Mexicans, Chile rellenos are where its at! 😋💞 Mexico 🇲🇽 loves you too guys, wish you can visit one day and experience it 😊 ❤

I wish they would have given them Oaxacan style tamales (made in a banana tree leaf). In my opinion, they are much better than the ones in corn husks. They don't get dry like the ones in the corn husks. I buy them on the corner frequently. BTW, I live in Mexico City.

The mother civilization of the Americas was Peru. The Norte Chico civilization was contemporaneous with the 4 mother civilizations of the "old world" - China, India, Mesopotamia and Egypt. By the time Mexico was civilized it wasn't in the cradle, it was a running child.

Mexican food is widely varied, seafood, hot spicy food , savory dishes, and sweet desserts , pati jinich is a world famous Mexican chef and has a tv show and many cookbooks ,my mother is Mexican born in Texas, my father is German Irish and I eat all types of food but I've never had Pakistani , I love your reactions to the different foods from around the world

I think only the plantains will be difficult for them to get. We should probably specify now that if they are ripe they should cut them lengthwise and fry them in a little oil. And if they are green they should be sliced into round discs, fried on each side, smashed, and fried again. Otherwise, Lord knows what will happen to that! 😅

Not sure where this is produced but I must say, as a Mexican-American, the food was spot-on authentic. At least visually. Not sure if they cook all of the dishes themselves, order it and get it delivered, or if they somehow get the dishes sent in pre-made/frozen but regardless I’m amazed at the quality of the dishes. Absolutely loved the video! ¡Viva México! 🇲🇽

I think by "simple" he means that he can see (and identify) the meat. That's pretty much all most elderly meat-loving people want :) This dish looks very close to our local cuisine. Mama is always suspicious of ground meat or more processed stuff.

I think "mixed" has the same connotations as "processed." Somewhat like "converted into something which you cannot determine the individual parts of by tasting it." Pozole may not be simple in flavor, but it is "simple" in that "it has not been blended with chaff and enhanced with pungent chemicals."

I love it when they speak the Spanish words, they actually pronounce it really good. Only "estaba", the accent is over the first A. So, it is pronounce "estAba" and not "Estaba".

Most people prefer pozole with pork meat. There are people that do not like pork so they make it with chicken. I don't know that many people that eat pozole with turkey. The masa for the tamales seemed to dry. I am Mexican and many people, me included, don't like chile en nogada. I prefer chile relleno instead.

Muslims don't eat pork so it was best to do it with chicken since not many Hindus eat pork either but I don't think it's forbidden, only beef is forbidden to Hindus. Chicken is fine for either so Chicken was best choice for the meat.

There is not way of anyone will know how the dish will taste if it is not done correctly, only that way will it be appreciated. Maybe give them recipes with foods that they are able to eat.
I really wish we could have given them food straight from Mexico. The food looks good but it's not quite there yet. Otherwise, I loved this episode.
