TRIANGULAR! Otis Series M2 Hydraulic Elevators at North Carolina Museum Of Art in Raleigh, NC.
Video Recorded on July 23, 2022: I've never in my life seen an elevator cab design like this before! This is not just a glass elevator, BUT it's a triangular-shaped glass elevator! Doors are SUPER WIDE and tall too! Anyway, this elevator originally had GAL fixtures until it got modernized with Series M2 (original brand was still Otis). First time I came here 7 years ago, this elevator was broken. Evan (@EWPA14) has a video of this elevator when it was still original. But I absolutely LOVE the view. It's SOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! :D While I may not like the mod itself, but this is still great as it is! Speaking of an original Otis GAL, just wait until you see the staff elevators here! Installed in 1981, modernized in between 2016-2017.

This is very cool, glad you finally got to ride it. This seemed to have been broken a lot when this was original (it was broken when I was here in 2013 too), so that's probably the main reason they modded this. Only thing I'm still sour about is that they replaced the motor, the old 1 was a thousand times better. Never going to forgive that fact. I'm glad they didn't ruin the cab though.

That's technically "O" for Office, but it kind of look like it says "0" at the same time.
Wow! Rare find! Not too many people can find triangular elevators, especially glass. That motor tho
That triangle shape is so interesting.
Such a unique shape for an elevator from the 1980s. Speaking of which, I did come across a 73-story OTIS SkyRise glass elevator in Mumbai and what's unique? It was vertically wide and really hospital sized at like 4400 lbs.
I film this elevator back the end May after my last day of school. I also got Covid after I film this elevator.
The motor used to be so epic.
This is actually a Pentagon shape, just like old Dong Yang in Pondok Indah Mall 1 Jakarta

No it has a shaft, but it's an open elevator shaft.
