Thx for this set up since i m lvl 36 ish, i use the arena battle, sunburn is powerfull enough to os everyone (on normal) except one guy which is perfect, i optimized your strat with thoses things: since i dont need benedict for "now!" , i use him to "rebelote" excuse my French Lionel so he can pick two bags instead of one in a single turn. I use Qohoug as well to teleport Lionel so i gain a turn, same with the teleportation. I use Julio to refill Benedict Pt and i use Medina to pick up the bag like Lionel cuz of her passive but she needs to be upgraded twice before using her. Hope it helps you or others to farm better.

I should mention that on normal difficulty this set up works until Frederica (with max stats) reaches lvl 41 included, only one guy stays with 4 hp after sunburn. So be carefull to not upgrade her with magic +2 or to keep her below lvl 42 if you want to continue to farm this way!

Lionel is a good option for picking up those lootbags, since he gets bonus gold for it. Trish seems like another good option, because she can pick them up by walking over them (instead of having to stop on them like most characters). I'm not sure which is more efficient in the long run. Lionel gets you that bonus gold, but Trish speeds up the process of looting, which would let you grind more of these battles in a shorter timeframe.

This video just randomly showed up in my recommended and I had never seen this game before but I totally love FFT/FFTA + the FF12 music, I'm totally getting this game

Small change for the early grind. Put the scarf on Benedict and open with two-fold turn on Narve with fleet-foot and In Tandem. The reason for this is he still gets two turns out of the gate but it allows him to use 1 magic ring and the pinky for more power

But the problem is, you don’t gain TP once you finished it’d first turn. Unless the Magic Ring = TP regen?

@Ryan Hyuga you don't need to. You can use the give 3 to thing. You end up with having 7 points to use so 4 for two fold turn and fleet foot and 3 for the TP skill. It's really niche but still an option.

NEW GAME+ Just a few chapters in, the easiest way to get money is the “Field of Greed” battle. It’s got 5 treasure chests in a mountain corner with 1500 gold each. The tricky part is that you only have 100 turns to kill the enemy commander, so don’t mess that part up. No specific strategies, just send Hughette flying up the mountains to grab the chests easy. Anna can also surmount the mountains, or just jump the full height at 3-Star class promotion. She can open 2 chests at once and it’s easier for her to evade enemy attacks. Other than that, just kill as many units as possible before the 100 turns. Save as many spoils as you can for Lionel to pick up, and get EXTRA money. Have Qhohog there to teleport him right onto the spoils to save time/turns. 20,000 Gold easy! Just don’t get greedy with that time limit, and DON’T let the Commander slip away!!! Otherwise it all goes away. But yeah, this has made it so much faster to optimize all my characters on replay.

I hope you’re watching grandpa. Out of all the characters so far, i find Narve to be the most compelling. Has a really good reason for joining the war (compared to other characters). Voice actor is also very familiar, old nickelodeon cartoons.

I've been doing this for a while to farm the upgrades. If your Frederika is a bit shy from wiping out everyone but few mages, then have Roland equip Speed Amulate/Bracelet and he should be able to run in using Flash of Steel in the middle column. Then I would use Anna to throw poison on the last untouched battle mage before activating Tantem. Ser Maxwell is also good to throw in if you need another fast unit to compensate any lacking damage. If done correctly, Frederika should be able to murder the entire enemy force and leaving only one healer alive. At this point I like using Trish for fast Pickup + Hossabara catalpulting Lionel for extra gold.

I've been grinding Field of Greed on very easy. I send Anna to open all the treasure chests while confusing the enemy by hiding. which contain 9k Lionel then makes his way around the entire map picking up the loot bags. Finishing the battle nets me with another 6k. One issue is that the boss might run away too far, but I figured out you can just surround him so he can't move! I get around 16k-18k per run. Oh and best of all it drops regular and quality iron, timber, fiber, and stone

About how long does it take you to complete 1 run of this? Sounds good but im able to get 12-15k right now in about 8-10 min. That’s with Lionel picking up all my bags using the conquer the arena method shown in the video.

i did this based on ur mid farm guide. frederica with the pinkie and vanguard accessory. milo with speed amulet. lionel for the gold bonus when looting. quahog so he can move lionel around. julio for tp battery to feed quahog so he can keep moving lionel around without running out of tp. lionel and milo also can charm the last surviving enemy so they dont move around and accidentally grab loot u r picking.

Amazing video! Will be using the second method even though I'm only level 23.

Well done! I’d been doing something far less efficient in the same mock battle with Narve and Erador, but adding in the quietus component really takes it to the next level. 🙌

​@@Tyloriousify I did! There's a couple weapon skills you can upgrade to boost his magic attack and the strength of Wind. Accessories unfortunately get locked up for efficiencies sake, but going on Easy / Very Easy doesn't seem to give any penalties to get the drops. Hope this helps!

@@JRPG-Mickey yes it helps. I love the strategy. If I may add one thing. You can use light wave to send the merchant to the top to pick up the drops more quickly. Once you have 5 quietus points that is.

You get crowns once you beat the mock battles on Hard Difficulty. Just an aesthetic thing I guess!

Any idea how to get all the enemies to drop items? Even with the pinky ring only a few drop.

Not that I know of. There's theories that Luck seems to help, but it was never confirmed.

I don't have a vanguard scarf. I hate those exploration phases. I spend so much time looking for everything and I still miss something.

I missed this on my first playthrough. I noticed when I was on chapter 6 or something, a few battles after I missed it in the mines. I wish NG+ had a chapter select feature, instead of making you play through the whole thing again. (I started using a guide that describes all the shinies at neoseeker after that, so I wouldn't miss anything again.)

At the mock battle selection screen, why do some of them have a crown, while others only have a check? Mine only have a check

As far as i know, battles with the crown symbol only showed up after beating them in hard mode. Anything lower just gave me a check mark.

@@Flareboxx Huh. That's curious. I just beat one of mines with a checkmark on hard and it gave me a crown. Maybe there's a more specific condition other than just hard mode?

Really enjoying Triangle Strategy so far, but coming from more western TRPGs, I hate how grindy it is. I know a lot of the grindy-ness comes from conventions established by classics of the genre, but a handful of QoL updates would have gone a long way. Even if they didn't want to cut the grinding completely, would it have killed them to just have all the bags be collected automatically at the end of the battle? Or at least make that an option, like they did with difficulty?

@@JRPG-Mickey I really took to a lot of characters especially as how they pertain to the story. Lionel though sticks out. his level of absurdity in his scenes and quotes is a perfect cringey level. His English voice also fits perfectly with his shtick. On top of that, he's quite the solid character ingame. I was using him to farm money but this seems like a good way to ramp that up too.

@@terence7009 Honestly bro, he seems pretty under rated. Similar to Erador with a bit more utility. His Provoke seems to almost always work, has the ability to debuff def + mag def...and he talks in third person hahaha. Nice taste in absurd characters, I'm the same way!

Yes I did! I'm not sure what my settings are, but my Capture Card can be hit and miss at times.

I am solely confused about getting to chapter 15 and being able to do all the things mid game. I am chapter 19 and still have not touched 23 mock battle or able to buy the special upgrades for the characters. Can someone help or explain to me why?

@Guts You really don’t have to worry much about grinding levels in this game because if you have a character that is, I think 2-3 levels behind the recommended level for the battle, they will get 100 exp per action. So basically any new character that you get is VERY easy to catch up to your group which is one reason this game is great! 😄

Does quietus points regenerate after each battle? I always assumed quietus points needs to be bought or found again. That's why i haven't used any quietus skills yet to save for the end battles

Hmm, I'd say ch 7 is about 10 hours through the game. Typical playthrough is about 35 hours or so. So, I'm wrong, not the beginning. Maybe a third through

here's what i do, Serenoa with pinkie ring + merchant guy with having a passive skill that has a chance of picking up money while picking up loots
