Triangle Proportionality Theorem, Side Splitter Theorem & Angle Bisector Theorem - Geometry

This geometry video tutorial provides a basic introduction into triangle proportionality theorems such as the side splitter theorem and the triangle angle bisector theorem. It explains how to set up a proportion to find the missing sides of a triangle and to solve for x and y. It also explains how to calculate the distance between parallel lines that are cut by two transversals using proportions. This geometry video tutorial contains plenty of examples and practice problems.

The side splitter theorem is the converse of the triangle proportionality theorem. Would it have been more accurate to have written Triangle Proportionality Theorem up top when explaining that problem?
