Ultimately, there is so much wisdom and benefit in trials. Unfortunately, most of us are shortsighted not to notice that. The trial has been tailored for you according to your faith. So look at it favourably that Allah has wisdom behind that. If you don't maintain this outlook on trial, the trial will turn out to be a punishment for you and you will miss out on all the advantages from it.
"I am to my servant as he thinks about Me." - Hadith Qudsi
Many times Allah sends opportunities our way, and when we see them, we consider them to be trouble, we consider them to be problems, we consider them to be challenges that will wreck and destroy our life. But in reality, these are gifts from Allah.
The companions of the Prophet (saws) were tortured and killed in front of his eyes. What was the outcome? The best nation ever brought forth to mankind. History was written with actions of the companions of the Prophet (saws) who went through these very trials.
so if Allah wants to transform you. Allah wants to make you a better Muslim. You cannot ascend to a higher level of faith, skill and personal strength. If you settle for complacency and you feel relaxed and you don't want to get out of your comfort zone, Allah sends trials your way so that you transform yourself. So that you become a better person.
For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. [Qur'an 94:5-6]

Shaykh Moutasem Al-Hameedi has studied under the prominent students of Sheikh al-Albaani, including Sheikh Mashhoor Hasan (Hadeeth and Usool al-Fiqh), Sheikh Hussain al-Awaaysha (Fiqh and Manners), Shekih Abu Suhaib (Imaam at Wise Islamic Centre in the UK), Sheikh Ayman as-Saadiq (Arabic grammar and morphplogy) and Dr. Malik Sha'ban (Aqeedah, Tafseer).
His works in Da'wa include being an Imaam and lecturer at Ibn Taymiyyah Mosque (London, UK), being an Imaam and lecturer at Call to Islam Islamic Centre (Luton, UK), lecturing at British universities and schools on Islam and hosting TV shows and lecture series on Huda TV. This lecture is timing for me now. As a Muslim we believed that all problems and tribulations are all tests from Allah. But somehow, if a believer has al-sakinah of the heart, and whatever problems he might encounter, it is easy to accept because we have been warned and advised by Allah that life in this world is all test in all aspects. I thank Islam for this great endeavor, how to tackle problems, that i dont need to take med. pills but i juz pray and ask Allah all my problems.. Trust is impt
