While i don't intend to troll or argue, me being a Gujarati, have grown up watching the making of dhoklas in our house.. Dhoklas can be made out of various ingredients & recipes.. For example: 1) a mixture of urad dal & rice ( as shown in this video).. 2) Besan dhokla (famous as Khaman dhokla).. 3) Moong dal dhokla (we make it in our house, don't know about others).. etc.. While, dhokla is cooked by spreading the batter in a plate (again, as shown in this video), Idli is cooked in an idli stand or a specific vessel meant for it & the shape is round. Now, in India there are various dishes which are referred to by various names depending upon the people from various regions & states. Though the Recipe might be same the names may still vary. That doesn't mean that only One particular is right & the other is wrong.. Its all a matter of perception, RESPECT it.. :) #Peace

This is Dhokla -_- @everyone. There are two types of Dhokla : besan and udat daal . Even though we use the Idli batter it's a Dhokla -_-

@lovely heart Ideally it should be but it's not 🙈🙈 It's called a Dhokla.... Idli is more like shape indentified 😂🙈 Not known by ingredient.
