Trevor Brazile Helping Young Horses Lock on to the Steer

Trevor Brazile rides both a heel horse, Faleena, and a head horse, Scotch, in this video.
On Faleena, he shows how to back your heel horse off a bit by tracking over one, keeping her collected, and helping her level off when tracking the steer.
On Scotch, he shows how to keep your head horse in your hand and listening to the bridle. He also does some different things in the box to help Scotch get more used to the banging of the gates and rattle of the cattle in the chute. Trevor also spends some time talking about how he works on keeping Scotch's hips square and parallel to the steer and how that helps him lock on to cattle better.

Love watching Trevor train the young ones! Such great content keep it coming. One day maybe you can get a mic on him and I can hear him talk better, otherwise wish I was a fly in the arena all the time. Truly the King of the Cowboys!

What is the newest head rope in Trevor’s line up? Is it the Future? Also, is the Future as good in high temperatures as the C4?

The C4 is better in extreme heat, but overall, the new Futures are most consistent across different weather types.
As the old timers would say" a lot of wet saddle blankets"
