rewatching the movie i saw wenwu had a sketch of morris’s species in his book and i just. it made me laugh so much just because here’s this super-serious terrifying man and he drew/has a drawing of a pudgy little potato of a creature with wings in his super-serious terrifying book

Out of all the comical relief they have thrown in over the past phases. I feel this is the most fluid and non-cringey interactions. I would legit love to see them in many other things.

I will admit… if there’s one role I never expected to see again, it’s Trevor Slattery… but Ben Kingsley did a fantastic job of it once again :D

I'm going with the fact he got people to believe he was the mandarin (including the audience) for so long gave him powers similar to the Mandarin, giving him some arcane abilities due to the power of names.

Trevor is experiencing the thin line between crazy and magical. Trev's a bit gone, so he can understand magical creatures (see the play or film Harvey). It's a gift of the "touched".

I think it’s just because he hung out with Morris for awhile in the dungeon, so he would’ve naturally picked up on the meanings of Morris’s vocalizations and body language.
