Kudos for giving the riders the experience to go on the road and not just graduate from a parking lot to a full motorcycle license. I think the MSF program is good here in USA, but it lacks the experience of the road.

Always nice to have new riders, especially women!! The best way to know how cool motorcycles are is to ride one!

Most excellent video about the ProRide program. The instructors and the students did a great job. The bars mounted on the street models, good idea for those first turns of the wheels. My girlfriend and I walked something like 10 miles to get T-Shirts from Trev Deeley two years ago when we visited Vancouver and Banff, Took a lil walking tour of the city by ourselves on the way. It was worth the exercise. The showroom is magnificent, great Harley history, and the bike selection is amazing. It had been 18 years since my last Harley, a 2000 Road King but the dealership helped inspire me, kept the mojo going, and last year I bought a hold-over 2017 FLHTCU Ultra Classic from my local dealer here in Eureka California. So yeah, thumbs way up, subscribed, and hit the bell icon because the next time I'm in Vancouver I'll be wearing one of those Harley shirts as a current Harley owner/rider.

OK, At 7:18 when she says " it feels as it should", that sums up the training course for me. Learning how the bike was engineered to move makes up 80% of the riding. On another note, The chapter about dogs....I thought that was a leftover from the 80's but OMG! Dogs WILL come at you! I'm a city rider and Damn, every other dog sees you and wants to run towards you. It is NO joke.

It´s good and safe, to learn riding with a course like this. After this, you are more safe by riding a motorcycle. To get the full fun, you have to ride it as a driver - not as a passenger. Forget the backseat - ride your own bike. Even, if you are a man - a woman - or whatelse. If you ride not too crazy and dangerous, and you know, what can happen by riding a motorcycle, I think you make your bike miles good, safe, and maybe accident free. Trust me, I have 43 years experience of riding different motorcycles. My last motorcycle accident was 35 years before now, where a truck driver made mistakes. Now, I have a Honda CBX 650 and a Yamaha Cygnus Scooter with 125 ccm. Old, but good for me. Why not a Harley ? I worked three years in a motorcycle shop by repairing and customizing Harleys. (About 20 years ago) And I was happy to ride my Honda CBX 650. Easy and trouble-free. Not a business like our customers. Even Harleys are way more expensive here in Germany, Europe. I don´t want to pay so much for a motorcycle. Even not, to service it. I know too, because my brother has a Harley Evo Big Block, made 1995. Bought new. But Harleys are very beautiful.

Hi Jeff and very good question. That athlete particularly (Carleb) already had her bike license and rides a harley;) she accompanied her 2 team canada athletes on this journey, and went through the process beginning to end to help us create this video and to gain additional motorcycle training. That is why we felt safe to showcase the FXDR in this video with a seasoned rider. Our very own dealership principal Darren was also the sweeper for the main Vancouver ride in the video for the safety of the 2 newer riders.

@@TrevDeeleyMotorcycles Ok, I agree with you. Even a HD-Dealer knows, what kind of motorcycles he has. And what bikes better for experienced drivers only. ie Road King, or Big Block Engines with much torque. The Bikes are expensive, and a crash is very bad. Even a drop-down only, because too big to handle for him/her. I drove different models of HD. And a Sportster is better, as it looks like. Even for Beginners. The worst case I saw: A very young and small motorcycle driver, with his own Electra Glide Classic. With the extra large HD-Topcase = King Tour Pack. The whole bike was too big to handle for him.
