Tresiba
Tresiba provides long lasting, once daily baseline insulin coverage for both type 1 and type 2 diabetics. It offers the greatest flexibility of any basal insulin. Tresiba continues providing coverage for more than 40 hours which relieves the burden of adhering to a more precise schedule necessary with shorter acting insulin.

I've been a type 1 diabetic for 47 years and have lost track of how many doctors treating diabetes can hardly spell the word. Always good to encounter a doctor who not only can spell diabetes but actually seems to know something about it!
I have been diagnosed type 1 for 11 years, I’ve learned more off this lovely guy than anyone I’ve sat with in doctors or clinics, great man x
Dr Ken Landow provides an in-depth analysis highlighting how Tresiba works for both D1 and D2 patients of any age. Precise explanation as to how it works and its possible side effects; primarily HYPOGLYCEMIA. Listened to the very end and appreciate how this doctor educates patients in an interventional methodology. It still takes DIET and EXERCISE... not only INSULIN to control renegade sugars and prevent ancillary health complications. It's vital to research and learn what it takes to control DIABETES!
The easiest diet is to cut out kibble (carbohydrates).
I love my tresiba! Great explanations Dr.
Very detailed explanation, thank you Sir for your time! Lovely man xx
This guy rocks!
Ive just been prescribed Tresiba after having using insulin vials using the traditional syringe. - Well no more! I already use an quick acting pen so I am used to having a pen.. I will be starting my new insulin tomorrow lunchtime. Once a day injection will be fantastic! I really want to get good control of my diabetes and this seems a great way to manage it :)
All one take. What a rockstar.
This was helpful. Can you please do a similar video about Fiasp?
Can tresiba cause worthening psiriasis?
I am t1 I am on it because my sleep is all over the place my nurse said it's better for me because there is a 8hour window to take it
Just about to start taking insulin after a couple of years of only Jardiance, first at 10mg upped to 25mg. Doctor prescribed Lantus but insurance will only pay for Tresiba. Will my testing for blood sugar with my meter alwert me to watch for Hypoglycemia? At what number should I be looking for to see if Tresiba is effective and what number should I use caution?
For me - 67 years old with type 1 diabetes i have been under good control with minimal complications - until the medicare knuckleheads required me to switch to tresiba - what they dont tell you is that while you dont have to change long term dosage - there is a SIGNIFICANT affect in short term dosing - where do they get these people from ?
This is great info!!! But sidetone: Who says "Thousand Million"... Isn't that just a Billion?
What if you weigh 120 pounds and your typ 2 diabetic
I was on lantus for the last 5 years and using 35 units twice a day my blood sugar was well controlled. On occasions, I will skip the night dose depending on my sugar levels in the evening and what I was having for dinner. Now I have been asked to use Tresiba and I am currently on 50 units and my sugar levels are much higher, both during the day and on mornings, than when I was on Lantus. I feel that I am not getting the best medical advise. Any comments?
