I was born in Trenton New Jersey 1968 W. Trenton jersey girl for life.. when we were growing up we had outdoor activities baseball teams drill teams swim teams Capitol skating rink bowling alleys black own corner stores neighborhood watch guardian angels we kept our own community clean.. my grandparents lived in east Trenton cousins in North n South Trenton we were able to walk the neighborhood with no issues we had a zoo n West Trenton.. maybe we need to get together and figure out how to organize and bring Trenton back it’s a historical city.. I’m quite sure we can all come together as one and make this happen

@Sandra Corless: That's exactly in happens in our impoverished cities. People give up hope!! I get so damned sick and tired of reading posts that put the entire blame on the residents themselves, referring to them as "pigs" and "lazy" and "lowlifes." Statements made by people who have never walked in anyone's else's shoes but their own! People who are bigoted and narrow-minded. People who see only the "top layer," not realizing poverty is a deeply multi-layered condition that involves a lot more than not cleaning up your yard!!

All you are proving in your videos is that there are no state, county and municipal resources being invested in the resurrection of the so-called "hoods" in America. Why is gentrification so rampant and not revitalization, homelessness and no investment in local homeownership why are banks not giving affordable loans to brown and black communities. Why are you not exposing these problems, but exploiting and sensationalizing poor neighborhoods. Why are you not doing comparative videos showing white and affluent "hood" and how resources of state, county and municipal government are being invested in those people's communities. This exploration.

I'm from Los Angeles, CA and I've lived all over Trenton since 2008... When I first got out here everybody looked angry and harsh lol but I mean.. I mind my business and stay away from bullshit people and I haven't really had too many problems here in Jersey 🤷🏾 but yeah... This place is beat the fuck up though 😂😂😂 i'm ready to move out and so are the older Trenton residents that are sick of the raggedy bum shit here 😩
