Trent Is Hitting It Better Than Ever - Breaking 100 Series, Episode 7

Спорт

Attempt 6 on the road to Breaking 100 for Trent Daddy. This time we're at the Village Club of Sands Point on Long Island and our guy was feeling it. It's consistently the best Trent has ever hit it during 18 holes.

@@BoBromhal it doesn't look like he's using irons that are super game improvement so he's probably getting punished more than he needs to on those mishits. Dude it was a 5400 yd course so how long can any hole be? What is it from the whites? 4800? Do you really feel like you broke 100 on a golf course if you play the thing at something like 5000 yds? Trent, You easily hit the ball well enough to break a 100 so if you are practicing by pounding balls at the range you are wasting your time. Learn how to properly chip a golf ball and practice your short game. Put 70% of your weight on your left foot when you're chipping And you can eliminate those chilly dip chips. 90% of your bad score comes straight from chipping and putting

I want this series to end, but I don’t want this series to end lol. I only started breaking 💯 2 months ago and somethings that helped me was I learned that it’s ok to play for bogey for beginners, instead of trying to hit a wood 200+ I just hit my most comfortable wedge 100 yards twice. I also learned to just punch out back into the fairways instead of hitting the hero shot through the trees. Course management helps to pick my most comfortable club to stay away from hazards, definitely a lot of lay ups and last was definitely practice putting at least 10 minutes before the round to get a feel for the green. My game still has a lot of improvement but now I’m shooting in the low 90’s. You got this Trent!

@@CPSnare91 Yeah blues are usually one up from the tips, the second furthest tees. I honestly think that amateur's playing from the blue's when they really should be playing from the white tee's is one of the biggest problems in golf, and it always seems like those players are the one's holding up the whole course causing 5+ hour rounds. I think if you can't shoot below 90 somewhat regularly, you shouldn't be playing the blues, just like how you shouldn't be playing the tips if you can't shoot in the 70's.

To be that short consistently must be a combination of mis-clubbing and mishits, he needs to use the most game improvement irons TM makes so he's not getting so punished on those mishits and have much better idea how far he hits each club. Coming up 50 yards short is a 4 club difference which is huge. I'm guessing it's more to due with mis hits than mis clubbing.
