Heyyy Diva & chat room guest!👋🏽 I have heard so much negativity about the BET awards, that i missed, that i have no desire to go back & watch it! 🙄 All i can say is, the BET awards have not been the same and have not gottten any better since the late 80s & early 90s, when the Whitney Houstons, Mariah Careys, Michael Jacksons, Luther Vandross, and all of them of that era was performing & representing!💯 Award shows have gone to H E. double L. hockey stick! As far as Ray J., i'll just say karma knows addresses and what's done in the dark always come to light....eventually! Taraji P. Henson is my girl, but she needs to get her head and tighten her game up....looks like she done let "them" folk get her totally off her square! She literallty had a public mental breakdown following The Color Purple.....and what's being seen from her now is the affects of that!

If the BET awards is directed towards the younger crowd, im sure the ratings were low because most young people are on social media sites not watching regular tv channels. My daughter is 22 and she never watched any of the award shows. It should be directed for an older crowd entertainment. It sucks now and i didn't even know it was on.

Angela was a typical sheltered girl who tries to be hood, get the hood dudes, but is game goofy!! Even Run wasn’t from the streets. He just was a talented rapper with a brother, Russell, who was the business mind behind the brand. Angela didn’t have to take that route. Her sister Vanessa is classy and not getting knocked up by hood ninjas. It’s sad when those who know better take a route that’s not even them, instead of staying true to themselves.

BET - Smut and low class filth was the exchange for true and real talent. Vocally/Singing for Usher's salute - Thought Gambino did best, and Ambrosia girl was the worse for people known t be singers for a living. The female rappers were a hot stankin' mess thus the skimpy clothing to cover up for the less than mediocrity we saw. It didn't work for me. I still saw no talent with them younger female rappers and Lauren Hill did show what talent use to look like as a female rapper/singer. BET Awards better get it together or need to leave it alone.

Angela - wanted attention by any means necessary and she got it in the worse way possible. Does she even work? Reportedly dude who raps and took care of her dumped her and she had to rent a less than stellar place in NY last I heard a few months back. Taraji - BET has never been known for great production/direction value on the regular for live shows especially, and was always last minute change ups or oopsies. So believable changing seats etc was happening w/ Taraji. She's hosted before and other shows and never had noticable mixups previously, so very possible BET's director for show was a hot mess. Ray J - Spoiled, and mischevious. IDK if he feels like ending himself/seeking attention but his life decisions has been hard and low so maybe he is tired. He said on Club Shay Shay Brandy's not bothering w/ him due to his lifestyle. Perhaps his conscience is bothering him if street reports are true how he helped Whit & Wendy w/ their substance issues??? Good to see you back, Diva and glad you had a great time!

And BET Awards suks. I stopped watching over a decade ago. I used to couldn't wait to watch it years ago. You do know that it's not Blk owned anymore don't you? Bob Johnson been sold out. SMH.👎🏼

I did not enjoy Lauren Hill. I didn't like the song choices, while she stood there looking like a witch doctor.
