Not a shock to me. She’s been scathing about his health for a long time. Very hard faced woman. Hope Eammon will be ok and be surrounded by supportive family and friends. I hope we see less of Ruth in the future.

I heard that she was supporting him in his illness when she spoke about him on tv he wanted her to go and live in Ireland she did not he moved to uk in 1996 and met Ruth where they made a life why should she move to Dublin and he was very lazy about the house used to leave thing out of the frig and if he made a sandwich left what he used and never put in dishwasher that annoys me to if you have cleaned the kitchen

Quite sad if your partner ditches you when you become ill, I've seen similar with a neighbour, he got ill went into a home, within in 6 months she got a far younger man installed.

Sad that his wife isn't up for the task of helping her husband during this unknow path in their life My hubby in a freak accident ...a man very successful...full of energy...men and women loved him for his kindness....life ahead of him...but at 26 an accident bruised his brain stem that left him with double vision, no balance, paralyzed on one side...no ability to walk left with a thumb and fore finger to operate his wheelchair....a very different path....but i could never in my wildest dream of letting him walk that path alone 46 years down that very twisted path and i felt honored to be with him I know it's not for everyone...but it can be done I'm sorry they may be leaving one another and i pray for their strength in this life change

Exactely that happened to me i damaged my spine age 27 and my marriage ended 13 yrs later. So much for till death do us part!

@@oohtob6685 Sorry, in my experience, that rule, as you call it, is very much in working order. As for looks, again I disagree. For a start, due to the rigours of childbirth, women have to work a lot harder to maintain their figures. And whereas men can get away with some wrinkles and grey hair, women are more harshly judged.

I read yesterday that he is facing legal fees of hundreds of thousands of pounds after he hired lawyers to try and wriggle his way out of paying HM Revenue & Customs £250,000 that they claimed he owes. The lawyers failed in their efforts and he must not pay both Revenue and the lawyers. Like most highly arrogant people I've ever encountered in life, his elevator doesn't quite reach the top floor.

So many people saying “For better or worse” & “ In sickness & in health” acting like every marriage should last forever, but that’s fairytale nonsense. They’ve been together a long time relatively speaking, over twenty years, so it’s been a good run. I’m sorry to see Eamonn has had many health issues & it’s aged him physically. Ruth has always kept herself in great shape & I feel she’s also mentally younger than Eamonn. It looks like she’s the one who’s initiated the decision & I’m sure it’s been a very soul searching time for her, probably years before making her decision. Whatever the reasons are, it’s life & I wish them both well going forward.

In sickness and in health. Being a carer is what comes to one or other in older age.

Once Ruth saw me drive my tractor with one hand it was good by Eamon 😂😂

Why is everyone assuming purely down to health? There’s lots of factors, they have recently become empty nesters, there’s a high divorce rate at that time in a family, they lost their this morning jobs and he has been pretty scathing, which has probably made her work life awkward, he has gone to GB News and has reportedly had tax issues and they had no choice but to move ( stressful regardless of wealth), plus he’s taken to the right wing slightly, which is hardly fun to be around.

Titles on KZread are sooo extreme … they are just a couple every one is obsessed that celebrity is something important And such discussion it’s always what people think they know !!yawn yawn

He had a hip operation a couple of years ago like a lot of old people do. He's probably worn her down because he's always moaning about his health poor mite.

Sad. But: That’s the result of the damned vxxx.

Ruth got to big for her boots getting her fashion range. Forget were she has come from She fell at the first hurdle In sicknesses and in health Good luck eammo .

I think Ruth should live in fear of karma so much for sickness and in health she has to deal with her own future health old age dosnt come alone .....
