Undoubtedly, this trek in Himachal Pradesh stands out as the finest. Ghepan Lake, nestled in the Lahaul Valley, holds the title of the most breathtaking lake in the region, according to my personal experience. Situated at an elevation of 4180 meters above sea level, it's crucial to acclimatise before embarking on this trek. The journey commences from Sarkhang Village in Sissu, spanning 12 kilometers one way. Ample camping spots are available along the route. While I completed it in 2 days, the trek can be comfortably extended to 3-4 days, depending on your pace.

Learn about DIY Hiking or do a basic hiking course at least.. Don't do it solo if you don't know mapping or navigation. Do it with a local guide with proper safety.
