Trees, Technology, Eldership, Rastafari, Sustainability, Jamaica's Greatness - with First Man

Firstman, a founding member of Rastafari Indigenous Village (RIV), is a passionate advocate for cultural sustainability and indigenous expression. An integral driver for our partnership to bring everything around the festival to life. As a father, drummer, singer, and community organiser, he champions the preservation of traditional knowledge and cultural events.
With extensive experience in cannabis advocacy and community leadership, Firstman has been instrumental in shaping Jamaican policy on ganja. Certified by the United Nations and the State of Oregon in the 2003 Intangible Cultural Heritage Convention and the 2005 Cultural Diversity Convention; he is recognised as an expert in cultural heritage and indigenous practices. Firstman's pioneering work has led RIV to incorporate sacred plants like ayahuasca and psilocybin mushrooms into Rastafari spiritual practice, blending traditional beliefs with new insights to create a unique Rastadelic™ expression of psychedelic culture and spirituality.
