Nice rig work in this video.. Most people don't realize that anyone can cut a tree down, but the ability of having it fall exactly where you want it EVERY TIME without jeopardizing the ground crew and personal property is a skill that's learned through years of training and experience.
@Treetom thanks for the great comment! we only used basic hand held cameras and a digital camera we got a while back. Has taken us a while to get better with the cameras. glad you like! cheers
Awesome, Ace. Fast paced, great editing and sound. Exciting. Made for TV!
These are Eucalyptus regnans (Mountain Ash), the tallest flowering trees in the world. They are in decline in the Dandenong Ranges in Victoria, Australia, where I can safely assume most of these videos were filmed. They rely heavily on Fire for regeneration. People have begun living in these areas preventing natural bush fires occurring, therefore preventing natural regeneration. These guys are "Arborists". Arborists are all about Tree preservation. Our livelihood depends on keeping trees. We don't remove them for fun, although it is certainly an adrenalin rush. I have been an Arborist for twenty years. Stopped climbing about three years ago. These videos certainly make me realise the skill involved, and how lucky I have been to have been taught by true professionals, and how much I miss a "Good Climb". It's also nice to know that technology will never replace this skill.

Great job men. . Most people could never do or scared to do in a whole lifetime compared to what you guys do on a daily basis
This one was def our biggest project so far! It has taken us 3 months to put everything together! We wanted to promote the tree industry as a professional trade and give something back to our audience.
love the camera shots of the logs hitting the ground.

I just found your site today, Awesome work! I have some friends with a 2-stroke power tool store, selling Stihl, Husky and Echo, mainly larger pro-cutters stuff. They'll really like your videos, they've been at the saw selling/warranty-service/consulting deal for 30+ years.

Great stuff. Like the other guys said you have balls dude. That's amazing watching you up there.
Two thumbs up on the innovative filming, editing, music and production,,, You captured the essense of the rush, the dangers, the smashing, crashing, the skill and gear in an Awesome way !
Not bad! Not bad at all!! I like seeing professionals do their thing!
fellow tree cats, great work as per usual. .. can you suggest a 18inch chipper?.. I've been running a Vermeer BC 1000xl for 10years but she is tired and I'm looking to chip larger wood. Thanks
I would have to agree ! that was totally awesome ! it is for sure the best tree video i have ever seen ! I am going to set that as a Favorite ! for sure ! Thanks again ACE !
Nice one man, it's been a while since I seen another climber put a smile on my face. Nice acuracy, Keep up the good work and if you feel like a trip to sweden, then get in touch
These guys are super smart, they know exactly what they are doing. It is art and science as each tree is different with problems to solve. They dont make a mistake and its why some call them tree surgeons It takes a high degree of precision, skill, intelligence and courage
My respects to tree workers, probably the most dangerous profession there is.
Great video footage that was put together really well, you should make a arborist show and run it on prime time tv
Video was well done. Good editing!
Thanks motofetzer for your time.
About the best video of tree work I have seen on youtube, I think I would like to come and work with you guys.
Not much else I can say here. I am in awe!

Wow! Nice video man!
Boys got some serious skills man,...respect.
Nice work!
This was very entertaining.
a real pro, good to watch.
372 dislikes? WTH is there to dislike about a video of necessary and environmentally conscious work being done?
You make cutting wood look...cool!
Great video, it was really well put together. I enjoyed watching it and thanks for posting!
This is just amazing, Ive done all my forestry work from the ground and i would not want to attempt this work at all. Them are real pros working up in them trees!
Great video angles!!!! Big AZZ TREES!!!
that 4 minute video was a big project ! We are starting to work on some new ideas for the next one !
Skill and bravery just about sums it up. The camera shots looking down on the "long drop" gave me the creeps, like having a bad dream falling! Mature gum trees can shed hefty limbs without any warning whatever - curtains for anyone who happens to passing by. Great video. Cheers.
Such a great video, a lot of work done :)
great video!
That's what i call professionals...nice video :).
ok ace u r a rockstar
mad respect
We went for the WOW factor! and i we hit the nail on the head going from everyones comments!! Now we gotta start planning for the next one lol
You are absolutely right. What do you do for a "living"?
very awesome video! fantastic work indeed
awesome video great job
Totally awesome! What a cool profession!
Impressive! :) Nice to see that you use quality saws from Sweden! :)
I'v seen tree work done in my 40 yrs as a hort guy in BC but nothing comes close to this as far as danger and spec weight of the eucs you're working on...way to go mate!
Nice mate keep up the good work
nise work
These guys are good..and SAFE....at 1:06 he cuts the top portion and lets it fall..no need for lowering lines or to do an ''egg drop''. He's got plenty of room to drop it safely. We call it ''bombing'' up here in north jersey. I love these videos. Most of the tree men ive met in my life are down to earth, fun loving generous people...but when the first saw fire's up...they're all business. Talk about an Honest Days Work...here it is!!
Great vid....I really would like to see more vids posted soon so we can watch some more.
Nice vid.
really cool video captures
very impressive
how you guys like using husky chainsaws? are they dependable like stihl or they almost the same but different tags and price of course ?
@nimedain haha good question :) we were very very careful ! Cheers ACE
beautifull video
I like when the one line snaps. BANG!
amazing video yea
1:23 look at the rope fibers flying off...lol awesome
great video, what program you create?
what a hatchet job !
i thought it was a very well made video and the music was great. i know that our forest need to bewell maintained to be able to survive and it also goes with my philosophy that only 'dead, down, and diseased' trees should be cut for firewood or campfire wood. we need live trees as much as possible. your video was amazing and shows the dangers of your work. here's hoping that all of your crew stay safe and enjoy your work. thanks
NIce, really nice !
This is so incredibly Dramatique! Please wait, while I go phone MI& and ask for Bond to come and watch it! Amazingly silly.
nice vid
Awesome !!!!!!!!!!! Yes its ace !!!!!! (: Super work and even more is your video entrance and all stuff you made 6* and fav Take care Alexander
