Tree Planting Activity on Mother's Day l Nature Preservation l Guardians of Biodiversity l Cebu, PH
In honor of Earth Month and Mother's Day, the Non-Academic Scholars (NAS) and the Recoletos Educational Assistance for Deserving Students (READS) Alumni of the University of San Jose - Recoletos, decided to reforest an area. We planted 100 jackfruit seedlings in Busay - a mountain barangay overlooking the City of Cebu to pay back to Mother Nature.
We spent the day happily planting with old friends. Its been decades since we left college, and there's a lot of catching up to do.

Ah OK mam... the place is really nice it's very cool becoz of the lush woodlands. It's the property a few hundred meters after the Temple of Leah🤗

Planting trees is a learning environment because it provides healthy and beautiful places for children to play and learn. We can make it as a school project. By using tree planting, we can instill a sense of environmental awareness amongst youths or in school ages. Through this project, we promote this as a form of green activism to make them aware of how important it was to plant more trees. It also gives an extraordinary experience for us. We have been able to see the joy of kids who want to do something for the environment. The students will be extremely happy to participate in this initiative. This will be a youth led and youth implemented project.

Yeah it's true... It shud be implemented specially in elementary students so they wud grow up learning the values of trees.. Too sad environmental awareness and protection is not a priority of our government
