Thanks
Nice to see that both have end rings that the log chain hook will thread through, well done!

Yes, thanks
I noticed when you cut the tree on your back cut.. you're cutting clear through should leave a hinge. could come back on you.. I noticed the way it jumped off the stump

thank you Tony
I appreciate the demonstration and enthusiasm. I'm also concerned about your felling technique in your intro and outro. A tree certainly shouldn't jump like that! I'm not a pro, but looks like your opening wedge cut is not open enough, so as the tree falls the front edge of the trunk contacts the stump edge too soon and the trunk jumps backward. You could break your leg or worse.

Color coordinated...yah....matches your apparel..
Just an opinion, but try cleaves instead of rings on the end
I have been thinking about getting one of these. I have a 1025r John Deer tractor its 25hp would my tractor be enough for the BG-08? That one says up to 4"

Our Kubota is 25hp and does fine. I'm not sure it would pull 4" trees when the ground is dry and hard here. We are in SW MO and it's very rocky with clay. almost like cement in the Summer. 3" trees were about the limit then. In the Spring when the ground was softer, we were pulling larger ones without any problem.

@@lifeoftreasures4856 Thanks for the reply. I am in Topeka KS. When they say 3 or 4 inch trees is that diameter or circumference? Also did you pull with the loader or from the back? I have bucket hooks but I don't want to damage the loader arms. Thanks again.

I'm sure they mean circumference. We have a backhoe attachment and connect the chain to the mounting bracket for it. If the backhoe is off, we have a drawbar that would be used. I wouldn't attach to anything that that would pulling against hydraulic cylinders.

@@lifeoftreasures4856 Thanks again. I too have a backhoe attached. I will go that route and report back how it went so others can see how well or not it works with a hobby tractor. :)
