It was an old movie house and theatre back in the day. The Lake View location was a dance studio at one time. The original BE was on Halsted in Boystown, I believe. There was a third location in Oak Park but idk if it's still around.

That thrift shop had a lot of nice pices of jewelry and prices looked reasonable, i would have found a way to bring back that silver horse jewelry box that was beautiful

Nice jewelry and interesting items. That was an old lantern slide of White House. Chick-cago As my friends and I call it. One of the cleanest cities around. Went in March when water dyed green.

You should continue south on Clark to Ainslie and visit the Village Discount as well. I used to work at the BE in Lake View which you visited a video or two back. Brown Elephant is run by the Howard Brown foundation, proceeds from the resale shops go towards affordable health care for the gay and lesbian community in Chicago.

CC with red coral in a necklace?!🐔 Great piece! At about 8:00 there was a pretty necklace with what looked like a blue topaz. Did King CJ get his crown??That bowl with the monkey treminded me of one of the monkeys from Wizard of Oz. Beautiful silver jewelry box!!

Thanks to watching videos like your i went to salvation army on 87th and Cicero. I was looking for a mid century shadow box but i found something else it was near the register line. It was 3 plastic craft boxes with jewelry making parts. Some not so good but have a lot to make a lot cool pewter bracelets and parts to make necklaces paid under 12.00.
