Treasure Hunting with the Waterproof Nokta Score 2: Underwater Metal Detecting at the Beach

I bought a Nokta Double Score after watching too many underwater metal detecting videos. After quickly being influenced, I bit the bullet and took it out as soon as it arrived. This is my first day hunting with the Nokta Score 2.
I took this out to the beach where my Bounty Hunter Time Ranger Pro (or Fisher F19) had trouble with the black sand, being a single frequency detector. The Nokta Score 2 has simultaneous multi-frequency which I really wanted to see in action.
The Nokta detector took a bit of getting used to but after awhile, I started to get a hang of it and even found a bit of treasure underwater while metal detecting a protected cove in Southern California.
I'm pretty excited to put a snorkel and mask on and try this thing out. After all, the reason I bought this is to do some diving and detecting.

The whole point of a sand scoop is to shake all the sand out and then your find is in your basket.

Jk - there’s a bunch of shells and the sand was sticky, so it kept falling forward
