Treasure hunting: Stagecoach Robbery in San Juan County NM
In 1874 The Star Line Mail and Transportation Company had a stagecoach that was robbed Northwest of Alburquerque. The bandits were caught near Aztec NM but stashed the gold before they were arrested. The gold was never found. We go looking for this buried treasure in Slane canyon horseback. The

I think I might go try to find that one now because the San Andres mountains are not paying off right now mainly because I think the main treasure is on the missile range.

U know for sure he would have told as many as he could where he had hidden it LOL [time/and native American's tracking] it is in the rocks and under one digging would have been easy to see.....

That part of the story never made sense to me. If he kept the secret for 35 years in jail why give up after one summer and tell everyone about it
