This song was hard for jesy because she was reenacting her mom and dads abusive relationship she played her mom her dad was charming but very abusive her mom cried seeing the end result jesy was always afraid to date because she always feared she end up the same way as her mom trapped fighting to get away her mom remarried to a good man but it took a while for her to be happy now her dad hasn’t been in her life for along time his estranged since she was a little girl she was 2 the last time she remembers seeing him his in jail for killing a Father of 3 by hitting them under the influence which added to her disappointment towards him

Her father became known as the Disco Killer after being convicted of murder for stabbing an amateur boxer to death outside a club. He was cleared on appeal and served a shorter sentence for fighting in public. This girl has really been through it... a violent and tumultuous childhood followed by unrelenting online hate for her appearance after joining Little Mix. Thanks for showing my girl some love.

@@tretvfrmdabx2544 Sadly, Jesy has been through a lot of sabotage. The hate on her is entirely unjustified as anything people deemed "offensive" was greenlighted by Combs and Minaj and the production team yet they got little blame for approving such "offensive" content.

Jesy has always been the one in my opinion. She is the entire package with her vocals, full-out dancing, professionalism, attention to detail, acting chops, and personality. I personally see Jesy doing music like Amy Winehouse. I love her in this style. Her voice is smooth yet raspy. Maybe some rnb blues jazz music.

Can you react Jessy Nelson Boyz

Not sure what direction she’s looking for with her music but she seems lost. Drama or no drama with little mix she to me wasn’t strong enough vocally to be a solo artist and her career flopping is proof of that tbh. I’m not a fan of her anymore personally nor professionally but I hope she finds a sound that is consistent and she is happy with it

One of a million opinions. I doubt we got Jesys full range in LM. Also she has the best recording voice out of the lot. She just needs to recover from the cruel sabotage she suffered. Jesy has been painted as a villain which has affected her online. But it's lies

She is talented but is made to be in a group surrounded by stronger vocalist while she just adds her unique input into things. Jesy doesn’t know who she is as an artist and you can see that’s from going from an awful song about liking bad Boyz to singing a song about domestic violence? It makes no sense.

Her father is in jail for killing a stranger, a father of 3. She hasn't seen since the age of 2. She's scared of repeating that relationship. This song and music video was made with a UK charity that helps victims of abuse and their families called 'Women's Aid' they help men too. I wish her good luck with her music.
