I can't describe how excited I am that he is experimenting with western music more and you can hear the HEAVY blues influence here, I love when he sings in english so much omg. and the lyrics aren't "feeling alone on this side" it's "feeling alone on the inside" just thought I'd correct that subtitle lol. Thank you so much for continuing with Dimash!! He made this song and the concept for this mv as well most creative input production wise ♡

Feeling alone on this side, not the inside. All feelings are on the inside, it doesn't make sense. I also don't think the lyricist is a native English speaker, but not "on the inside". No place does it say that. If it does I will stop listening because it is too weird.

The song on the record is "Flower Duet" from Lakme by Leo Delibes. This is the earliest version recorded in 1915. - kzread.info/dash/bejne/a2Wcj7GYaJPAoZs.html Dimash was living in L.A. for work when he recorded this. It looks like he's in a Louisiana mansion. 😄 He composed this. (Not sure if you saw) Dimash loves all music, he even listens to Eminem.

How you described the different styles is spot on! Dimash turned down a place in Astana Opera House to pursue a career in neo-classical/crossover styles. He is not only an amazing vocalist, but also an amazing composer - this is yet another of his compositions - but also envisions the stories that go with his songs & has a hand in producing the mv's. He is also a great actor & many would love to see him in movie. He truly is the full package, a once-in-a-lifetime artist. Thanks guys for your great reactions. Thank u SO MUCH for your review and for saying that you appreciate that he doesn't stay inside of a small box musically or stylistically!! Of the 25 + reviews I've seen all were really appreciative of his broad range of styles and liked seeing him sing this song which brought about a delightful surprise to all EXCEPT one guy who didn't smile or like it because of his accent saying he didn't like his singing outside of DQs native tongue, which is too bad; to want Dimash to sing songs with the same sound, the same musical structure and only in his language....I LOVE DQ's accent and I AM VERY GLAD that he does NOT pronounce English words just like a native born American! The reviewers MAIN complaint was the way DQ pronounced GATE way...which sounds, as a U.S. born native speaker, right on to me??!!!! like you said, this other guy wants DQ to stay in a very tight small musical box....too bad!!
