Just to clarify, we had a little budget hence the costumes and we wanted it to be slightly naturalistic. We also, did this for our A-Level Performing Arts course and performed it to our parents. We didn't have a proper stage, so I feel that we did well with the resources that we'd got. We worked hard on this and as for the accents, well they're mostly our real accents so sorry we weren't born in America. TYVM. :D

This is an amazing version of honk I'm doing it with my theatre group and I'm auditioning for the cat Everyone in this performance you did amazing and anyone that says otherwise is just mean There were a few things to work on like the band but this really helps me to rehears for the cat since it's a main main part

Aw, we did well you guys! Lot of time and effort went into this, offensive comments really aren't appreciated so take them elsewhere.

What the hell with all the hate, guys? You people keep saying that Americans are better at acting, which is not true. I'm sure many of you have favorite bands or actors that are British. Now I'm American, and I just gotta say we are horrible at so many things it's embarrassing, so please don't just go on saying how we're the best at everything, because that's not true either. Personally, I absolutely loved this play with the accents. All the actors/actresses were so energetic and amazing! And maybe some parts weren't perfect, but since when did everything have to be "perfect?" I'm in this musical this summer, and I'm Maureen, and let me just say that I am so excited! Anyway, you guys were awesome!! ♥

were doing honk! this year at school, im so excited because we are a performing arts school and so we have such a cool stage and equipment! we get mics and the lighting is done by the same man who does the lighting on the British version of 'the voice' (don't know if you know it or not). even though having all loads of amazing equipment, I really miss the feel of having a smaller stage and not being miced up all of the time like it was done here. really good work guys x

Jesus guys, it a production, just because they're not american doesn't mean they can't act or sing..i bet you love Jessie J One direction, little mix and they come from Britain...just dont watch it if you dont like it!!!

Even though the acting/singing or placement of the orchestra isn't the best. The costumes are VERY cute and the set is nice and simple for this type of show

My middle school just did this musical, and I played Ida :)

I have four roles! Penny, Henrietta, goose squadron, and a froglet. Our class is small but I can't wait!

I am currently in honk as the cat, it's very accommodating and fun.

Don't listen to the hate guys, I thought this was really good! And as for accents, you can't help that, and I'm English and my group are doing this in a few weeks and it sounds completely different, because we're from different places, so people, don't go bashing all of Britain for making this show sound terrible.

I LOVE the costumes!

I really enjoyed this! I thought it was very creative with the small cast and minimalistic set/costumes. My dance school is doing this and I am playing Ugly this is the first version I've actually sat the entire way through! Acting was really good Ida and ugly both sang beautifly so don't listen to the negative comments!

While the show isn't amazing, a lot of work seemed to have been put into it. And I love the accents:)

Dude at the beginning was way off pitch. The band was too close to the stage and was drowning out the singers, maybe try a track next time.

My school is finally performing this, and our singing and dancing is more high level for 7th and 8th grade

I tried out and I got billy I'm so excited

The frog in my production rapped his song. It was kinda awesome

Um... I have done that show before. When I was ten I played Ida. 'Ugly' Was 13 and he was calling me mama and I had a 16 yrold for a husband. It felt sooooooooo weird

I'm doing this play this year. (I'm the cat ;3) When my best friend (Fluff) and I practice our lines it sounds so wrong to us because after watching this it feels wrong to not have accents xD

The cat is ALWAYS meant to be played by a boy. In the original London production, the cat was played by a male.

Not necessarily- when an actor/actress misses a line or their peer forgets their's, they have to improvise and add some lines. It's common- sometimes you gotta use improv here and there to get through the show...

I think it's fine as long as they buy the original. You can't have the same play with slightly different lines and call it something totally different and not buy the rights to perform it.

Well I think Ida the ducklings the bullfrog and ugly are good but drake in the first song was pitchy he seamed uncomfortable when he was singing. Over all it was a good performance. I'm playing fluff the duckling in my school play.

Were doing this musical I am Dot :D but why are the people barefoot in this one and all of the girls seem to be dressed the same otherwise pretty good

We're presenting this in 2 days and im ugly... we watched this at the beginning of the year and tbh our is soooooo much better

In my first honk play, I was jay bird, and a fish/goose/frog. :)

I'm sorry to say that the Drake wasn't a very good actor at all. He seemed a bit uncomfortable. Not natural! Also some of the Singing was a little out of tune.Especially in Warts and All. I'm in my town's production of Honk (I'm a principle dancer) and I'm just so excited. However I must say all the show recordings I've watched so far none of them are very good. Why are the casts always so small. In our production there are 110 members in the cast. We have a chorus and everything.
