Been using the armored summit for little over 2 years and it’s the best wallet ever. Love how thin it is. Decided to order another wallet from Trayvax and went with the 2.0. I can’t wait for it to arrive.

Congrats on the second! They both are great, the OG 2.0 just gives a slight bit more physical security if you are doing a more active activity where it might get dropped or thrown around.

Just ordered a 2.0. Looking forward to using it

Its a great wallet, when you want that extra security.

OG 2.0 is one of the very few metal wallets that can survive a drop without the cash or cards coming out of the wallet. It has very high card holding capacity as well but like you've said, it's not as instagramable like the summit.

My girlfriend bought the ascent wallet for my birthday and Trayvax also sent the summit wallet with it for free to give to a buddy as a promotional offer haha I love Trayvax! I ended up giving the summit to my broski and suggested he get the armor plate to go with it. It’s a sturdy little minimal wallet for sure I’d definitely pick one up for myself if I wasn’t already in love with my ascent.

@@johncacey I bought the original 2.0 just now and saw that I could engrave it for $7.99 but I had no idea what the engraving looked like or where it was, do you know by chance? Found nothing on youtube or google 🤷🏻‍♂️

I just ordered the 2.0 this morning and the lanyard carabiner for my bfs birthday which is this month. It shows that I’ll get the summit as a free promo item, and at first I was debating for the 2.0 or the summit and I’m glad I decided for the 2.0 Great review👍

I never carry cash so I wish they had used the raised money clip bit to have a spring to tighten the cards when you take one out

Smart idea.

So I have had the summit and I currently own the Titanium contour which is awesome but I still carry them back pocket. Are you carrying these back pocket? I want to know because I'm debating getting an OG 2.0. I do back pocket because I'm very particular about my edc set up and front right is knife and phone and then there's not enough room with my spare mag/ neomag in the front left for a wallet. Plus I. Just comfortable with rear pocket. I'm just concerned if the money clip with be irritating in that position. Btw the ascent is also great and that quick access strap adds fidget factor.

I carry it front pocket. If I am out walking around I find that I put my phone in my back pocket. Of course if I sit down I pull it out of my pocket and set it next to me. I am the same as far as having a place for everything! Sometime my light I choose is long enough it touches the waller (which I don’t like). I guess you could always chop off the clip lol.... I never use mine and thought about it, but for my use it does not bother me.

I have these two wallets and I ordered the 2.0 in black and they sent me the little one. It has a blue band which I don’t really like. And I don’t have the plate. Looks like you can buy a different colour or band now on there website as well as the plate. Just wondering how do the cards come out with that plate? With the plate on top and if you push with your thumb it looks to me the plate would come out as well. I would not want that plate to act as a card. But again not really sure how the plate works. Any thoughts would be great.

Yes, the plate has slight indentions right where the band goes over it that sorta hold it in place. Look at 1:30 sec for a better look at what I mean. It still moves a bit as you get cards out but it is not bad enough for me to not want it. I liked having the plate myself.

can u fit like small folded paper documents in that power cord wallet? or just credit cards? also do you find it it hard getting the card in the middle?

Getting cards out of the middle is not a bad process but I guess that is subjective :) I guess anything you fold the size of a card could be stored in the wallet :)

I love my trayvax armor summit, but the only downside for me is the pocketclip, they could've make the clip so that it like clams the money against te wallet ir something, cause when i get out my card and it get a bit loosen up, my money could fall off if i dont keep my guard up 🤣

@@johncacey Oh but hey John, on their website it says this about the plate... An RFID-blocking insert designed to keep credit cards and personal information safe by placing the Armor Plate over credit cards. So, thats what it does? I dont really need it then?

@@bellmeisterful You are correct, you don’t need it. But I think it adds to the Wallet. It gives a top protection plate over that first card. And it kind of sandwiches in the cards between the metal backing and the metal front plate.

I LIKE THE SMALL OF A LEATHER REAL WALLET.
