I have this wallet and couldn’t get past the constantly having to tighten the nylon strap. Maybe it was OCD but the cards definitely floated around a lot more than I like. Also, when I took out a single card, everything was extremely loose and if not careful, all the cards would just spill out. I love the form factor of this wallet when everything is secured. I ended up ordering the Contour and everything about it is far superior IMO. It’s a little bulky compared to the Summit, but all of the issues I had with the money clip and the loosened cards is entirely solved with the Contour.

Never had a Trayvax wallet before but this wallet would be a nice introduction into their ecosystem.

Since i’ve discovered Trayvax i said they are the best. I wanted to buy a summit for my brother but whit the covid experience almost no one delivers from the US. Now this is his chance for his present!

I gave one to each of my 3 nephews a couple years ago. I know one of them uses it daily. I use a Summit as an ID and security card holder at work.

I bought the trayvax original original back in 2013. I just recently ordered this wallet and should get it Monday. I'll still be using the original as well since there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

I love that summit such a cool looking design and man that purple strap would look great next to my purple I5t and purple Kershaw blur lol

I bought the Armored summit a few months back, and I love it. It's very minimal and slim in my pocket, and I can attach my keys or a lanyard to the ring. It fits all of the cards I need perfectly, and I can carry around cash without having to worry about it falling out. The one thing I wish there was is a spot to hold punch cards or business cards, but other than that, it's great!

I like it. It feels like regular summit would be even more minimalist and functional, though less protective to the top card.

Just spend some more money and buy the contour. Once you use that one, you never want something else.. I own all Trayvax wallets. The Contour I bought last because I always thought it was too expensive. Now, I never use my other Trayvax wallets anymore cause it’s soo good in every way. And the patina it has after a little longer than a year of use is soo awesome!!

Awesome viddy as usual. I love all my Trayvax! With all the free Summits I received with the other wallets I purchased, I ended up ordering an armor plate and also a leather Notebook sleeve. I actually use the Notebook sleeve to hold my cash, while the summit portion holds my cards. I have actually found that I don’t really use the armor plate all that much. I would rather use the Summit without it! Be well! 👍

Great wallet for minimalist days. Trayvax has come a long way since the original model.

I have been looking for a minimalist wallet for awhile, but never wanted to pull the trigger because of price. This looks like a great wallet and has a great price. They are even having a flash sale on this wallet today and tomorrow.

Any idea how the money clip would work with UK money? It's a weird kinda plastic these days and can be quite slippy, be interesting to see if it slips out?

I've been skeptical of using this one. I got a regular summit when I ordered my contour and hated how loose it was. I might give this a try with the metal plate; seems like it makes a difference.

Eh...I'll stick with my original Trayvax wallet. I like the customization of being able to replace the paracord with different colors of paracord. I do like the easy adjustment with the banding. I think that's pretty cool.

they could have kept going and further develop the button system of the contour to the summit. or at least have some more metal areas on the corners so it wont slide around so easily.

Good video , I have both the armored summit with a blue strap and my blue og2 I just restrung with nantucket blue 550 paracord. I agree about the money clip on the armored summit .i just fold my bills in half so I can clip more . I think the og2 is better , holds more cards , is easier to flip through cards and the money clip flexes a bit to accommodate more bills folded in half. Plus you can customize it more with beads and differnt paracord.

Sharp looking wallet. One question though, when storing cars in a "minimalist" fashion, is there any fear of demagnetizing cards when they're stored so close together (with no material in-between)?

Great review. Pretty decent looking wallet. Not a fan of the tightening system. But overall it's a nice wallet. I will never go back to a standard type wallet.

My EDC method is get my cards and then put them in my front pocket. If I have cash, I fold the cash over the cards. Never have an issue and it costs zero dollars. These are cool though.

It's always good to try different types I bought the fridge leather bifold after I bought the ridge and alternate wallets depending on how much cash I have lol

Wasn't sure about the steel wallets, but this one seems good.
