Tray Deee Recalls Being Shot At on "New York, New York" Set

www.vladtv.com - Tray Deee witnessed the East Coast Vs. West Coast beef unfold during the '90s, including Tha Dogg Pound being shot at on the set of the "New York, New York" music video shoot. He explained that the shots "had to have been coming from at least a mile, mile and a half away," which signified to him that a sniper was behind the job.
During the conversation Tray Deee also shared his thoughts on Young Thug calling his album "Barter 6," and he believes that it was karma for Wayne piggybacking off Juvenile's 400 Degreez with his 500 Degreez. The West Coast emcee questioned how Wayne could ever be mad at Thug when he did the same thing in the past.
When it comes to different rap groups beefing, Tray said you should respond "when you're in the advantageous situation by responding, if it elevates your platform."
Check out more of what he had to say on the situation above.

They were bold as hell going to Brooklyn at that time. Biggie was equally bold going to LA after pac died.

I really hate the attitudes and hypocrisy of NY. And nobody ever talks about Tim Dogg starting the East/West conflict. It's always Pac this, Pac that. Tim Dogg started it and nobody in NY said a damn thing to criticize it, yet 'Hit Em Up" was wrong.

Damn, I believed the story that Biggie called the radio station, but hearing it from Tray Deee takes away any room for doubt for me. Biggie kinda caught an oversized dose of karma coming out to LA (AND singing Long Kiss Goodnight on the radio). Should've chilled in his area until things cooled down.

Dudes say that New York New York wasn't a diss to NY/East Coast and I can believe that it originally wasn't. But during that time, when the East West rivalry was really starting to heat up, for top West Coast MC's to make a song that goes "New York, New York big city of dreams, but everything in New York aint always what it seems.." it was EASY for hot headed NY/East Coast dudes to take it the wrong way.
