What happened with ur arrma 8s stuff? This thing looks good but the gears won’t hold up to a bigger motor I know from my x maxx change the pinion and spur to Mod 1.5

If you have ever seen 1/10 or 1/8 scale stadium trucks from associated or losi, it’s kinda like that but it is MASSIVE! Why is it over engineered? Because it comes apart in 3 parts or just that there's few more screws? That my guess . I am right

I love Arrma, but the XRT is definitely worth a look!

Arrma is so much easier to wrench on and they use metal gear servos. XRT still uses same shitty servo 😢

XRT looks amazing besides the plastic shitty servo. Mind blowing they still skimp on the servo. I love traxxas and will buy one but come on guys.

@@coolhawk2003 between my brother in law and me we have a lot of rc cars. ( 30 ish) We both started with Traxxas and love the brand. With that being said my Xmaxx has been the worst Rc I’ve ever owned without a doubt. I live on a few acres and have a giant grass/gravel front yard. My Xmaxx blew a tire and the servo shit out with very very minimal use. I couldn’t believe it. For over a $1,000 you shouldn’t be getting a plastic geared servo it’s BS. The giant tires strip the gears easily.

@@Evergreen085 wow changed the servo and glued the tire . She had no problems from there on lol. I blew a tire too at first . So much low end power with stock gears. Glad I let off the trigger and didn't break the servo. I get mine super dirty so the back bearing need the oversized ones and the pinion gear keep coming lose. But easy fix got a arrma pinion bahahaha so funny.

Good luck running that at your local tracks. Most tracks don't allow bigger than 1/8 scale and for good reason.

I sure hope not..if this thing is anything like the sludge, it should be banned before it even launches. I don't hate TRX but the prices go up and quality goes down.. Maxx trucks are awesome, sludge is, well sludge..

KRATON 8S KILLAAAAAAAA

Man…..that thing is BAD ASS! The body style and graphics is mean looking 😈 Only gripe is the size. 8S is just to big for my taste. It’s HUGE! The motor with the way the fans are arranged looks like an American muscle big block engine 💪. Would love to see this in 4S/6S that would hit 70 mph.

@@pewterngold Gotcha - however as mentioned - would the Sledge be what you're after? It's basically the E-Revo size but with a new internal structure as you mentioned (however personally I still prefer the handling / suspension setup from the E-Revo).

@@MKu64 nah….I love my E-Revo. Just looking forward to the next version. I considered the Sledge but I don’t like metal chassis’s for off road bashing. The XRT looks really well done by Traxxas. They seem to be making this new generation of rigs easier to maintain, etc.

Nothing ground breaking here. Traxxas doesn’t innovate. Their whole thing is taking what is already popular (1/5 truggies) and making them durable and/or beginner user friendly. This truck is cool, but don’t pretend like this is new.

Yawn. No imagination here from Traxxas let’s be honest. I think we’ve been asking for something like this 3+ years ago. Whatever. Get it don’t get it, either way enjoy what you’re doing whatever that is.
