I have this one now! It’s super sick!
Well the timing was good I had my M Defender out today for the first time. I had ordered it more then a month ago from the Traxxas website. I wasn’t in a hurry but I just checked last week & the status was the same processing is all it said. Then Traxxas came out with this express shipping & I just about lost it! Had I not just got the new Sendero & 1:18 scale Capra I probably would’ve canceled the order. But I had a feeling it would be worth it. So this week I checked & it had a tracking # & had Saturday as the delivery day. So yes it was worth it most definitely & I can’t wait to upgrade it especially the low gear motor / trans. After having it out in water on boulders or large rocks, steep sandstone climbs etc. it got a good work out & it surprised me. It’s very capable in stock form & being the Defender it didn’t tip as much as you would think. It’s very stable & the tires are pretty good. I had so much fun I just kept wishing for another battery or different style plug.You can charge it in your vehicle though if you really wanted more time. It’s either change the electronics or buy more batteries which I believe aren’t even available yet. My only problem is I have nothing 1:18 scale all my parts & scale stuff is 1:10 scale. I spent time with the new Sendero new 1:18 scale Capra & the Defeender. Got some good pictures. Had a blast. Can’t wait to see you get it out it’s everything they say it is. Nothing but smiles.

Awesome feedback man! I agree regarding the performance…….I expected it to be good but it’s better than I would have guessed. Also surprised at the lack of roll over most defenders are prone to. These are a great product, very happy with them and once the initial wave is over the availability should catch up

Man that has been a common and unfortunate trend for my international friends, such a bummer because it is a fantastic truck. The utb18 is the next crawler on my list, let me know how you like it if you pick one up. A couple new trucks coming to the channel along with a high speed on road rig and a new basher so far scheduled for 2023, really looking forward to what the year has in store for us 😀 Cheers from the 🇺🇸 to Sweden 🇸🇪!

based on the high/trail gearing and estimating the max motor rpm @ 22,800 it calculates close to 4.6 mph. Very controlled for indoor use with limited chance of losing control or damaging anything. Great little truck I love it, it would be a blast for a youngster.

Disappointed, it really sucks! Redcat Ascent 18 blows it out of the water! $30 less!
