I have to say you really did a great job on it especially with the rock sliders , i hope you keep both sliders on

I appreciate that. I'll have to see what I want to use the TRX4 for. It really depends on the usage and what is the best setup for the particular usage, whether it be full trailing, full crawling, or a mix.

What's up Javier! These bumpers look great with the TRX4 Sport body. They are hefty though, so I'd probably use them for a more trail oriented rig.

Yeah, I like their stuff. I think the only reason I'm hesitant is I'm unsure if I want to gear my TRX4 more towards scale and trail, or aggressive performance.

Thanks 👍 I don't think I'll be keeping them, but they are fantastic pieces for a trail oriented truck! I'm usually more on the challenging rocks side, so these aren't exactly the appropriate parts for that.

Really good video. You should of showed it a little slower at the end for we could get a better look. But after seeing that you were talking about the sliders having an angle instead of straight. Thanks.

Yeah, my bad. Good point. But yeah, I wish the sliders had more of an angle so that they'd kind of be like boat-sides. These parts to look great and complete the TRX4 sport body with expedition rack look though!

Thanks 👍 They do look good! Unfortunately, I'm not much on the trail oriented side of things. They'd look good for scale driving too. I like to tackle more aggressive terrain, so it remains to be seen if I keep the TRX4 as a trail oriented truck, or just ditch the whole body setup for something lighter.

Nice upgrades! I like the looks of the ScalerFab sliders, but I like the how the stock sliders sit higher and fit in with the fenders to keep out debris. Curious to hear what you think of them after you try them out.

Yup, you hit the head on the nail. Love the way they look, but I can see the benefits of the more integrated and stock sliders. My thoughts are it's a great setup for a trail rig. If you're doing more ambitious crawling, then they are probably too heavy. Running video tomorrow so you can see how it went!

@@RevolutionX yeah I agree, do look great for a trail rig. I've always liked the looks of them, but never pulled the trigger. I do like the front bumper. It fits the body well.

Can you please tell us what the internal width/measurement is (in millimeters) for the rail mount bars/slots on the bumpers? I have a different crawler and wanted to know if this bumper kit would fit it's chassis rails. Also, if you pull the front bumper all the way forward, is there enough room to fit a winch between the body and lower/front bumper plate? Thanks.

I think so? It's been so long since I've ordered this that I don't exactly remember anymore. Hit up Scalerfab, they're usually pretty good about responding to questions.

I just got stock defender and the performance is great but man the sliders and bumpers get chewed up and get in the way

Yep, These clear better and hold up real well, but they're more suited for trailing due to their weight. They're pretty heavy!

Yeah but these don’t fit a defender without modding then correct?

On the website for the rear bumper, it says it needs to be installed differently, taking the plastic crossbar out completely. Have you noticed any problems with the way it was installed?

I forgot what I did, but I haven't had any issues with it. I am taking the whole setup off soon though, so I'll see what I did.

@@dylanginter1620 it's geared more towards a trail rig setup. I have plans to make the rig more aggressive at crawling, so I'm also ditching the sport body and expedition rack also. BTW, I just checked what I did regarding the rear bumper mount. You can keep it on if you flip it upside down. If it is mounted the stock way it gets in the way of the bumper. So flip the bumper mount upside down and you should be good to keep it on.

I wonder how much the rig weighs now with the double sliders. 🤔

It probably wouldn't matter either way since these sliders are so damn heavy on their own! They look really nice though. I'm probably going to be getting rid of the whole body setup to go with something lighter and more clearance anyway.

REVolutionX RC I’ve been meaning to get those ScalerFab bumper sets for a while now but have no luck with stock. My Sport is now sporting a very sturdy plastic VS4-10 bumper set...very durable, light...just doesnt score nuch on scale points for comps.

Will these bumpers fit on the Bronco?
