Very nice tutorial, better to see it visually than the manual. You explain everything very well and give "warnings" about things you did wrong so we learn. 10/10 it turned out amazingly and took 3 hours, since i took it slow!

Just installed my light kit on my blue Bronco tonight after work. So cool, love it. Found your video looking for the blue tooth link thing that goes in the transmitter... very informative video, and thanks for reviewing that (also enjoyed your history lesson, LOL!!). Best install video I’ve seen, good job emphasizing how delicate these lights are at the end. How are these lights suppose to survive water and mud cuz those inside wires look so flimsy. Thanks at the ending for helping with the light modes. Good job man I hope you film other installs

I love everything in this video, the only thing I miss was the doors and the seat's just like the way they made the RAM rc car. Mostly the light side was my lovely part and the tyres. But the transmitter was not good since most functions could not me done with it. I love it, and if you can make it to have doors and seats it will be very nice......good job brother.

Thank you, your video was very helpful. Unfortunately, my low beams and high beams do not work, but I'm certain I installed them correctly thanks to your video. I suspect mine shipped defective, hopefully they are sold separately.

You can customize which mode runs which lights within the app. For example, I have mode 1 set for halos, taillights, and rock lights. Mode two is low beam, taillights and rock lights. Mode 3 is high beams, taillights and rock lights. I also created one of my switches on the lighting dashboard to control my rock lights in case I don’t want them on.

Is it possible to turn off the halos so the headlight are completely off? Traxxas support told me it isnt possible which is a deal Breaker for me.

That's a very good video👍. I have just one question and hope you can help me. If the light kit uses the telemtry socket on the receiver, is there another socket on the supply module of the light kit? Or do I have to put the telemetry intoto the receiver and then the light kit into the telemetry? Or would I loose the telemetry?

I'm finding it a little hard to understand your question, the truck is not with me anymore unfortunately.. I think i got it but not sure, yes there is a socket on the light module itself, and the basic telemetry that comes with the truck like clinometer and speedometer and such will not go away because of the light kit.

May i know where to buy this?

Can you make it so the turn signals dont go off? That would annoy me crawling i feel like

Most indepth video I've seen to date on these lights. I just installed my kit with bluetooth adapter on my K10 high trail and having issues with turn signals and brakes lights. I tried quick pressing the signal button and nothing happens. The only time it does anything is if I press and hold it but just seems to cycle through the lights. What do you think the issue is? Great video!

When I hook up my battery before I push the power button the running lights come on is this normal

Can someone please answer my question! Are my 21 bronco trx4s headlights supposed to dim when the brake lights come on? I never noticed it before…but maybe that how it’s just supposed to be? Tested it with the stock esc, double checked the wiring, eliminated factors, haven’t gotten the headlights to stop dimming when the brake lights come on..? 🤔 any ideas would be amazing 😁

@@16abind I don’t think it’s supposed to either, just can’t figure out why it’s doing it 🤔… only headlights dim, never tail or reverse lights…. But it’s BOTH headlights which leads me to believe it’s not wiring? Or at least not the wiring on the individual lights (like a solder joint letting go)

Can you turn on the hazards with the app?

Mine doesn't have any day time running light wires on it. Nor does this apply when you have a Telemetry module. The traxxas app doesn't control the lights and says no High Voltage power amplifier detected. That's a problem.

I have the same message on mine too. It eventually connects randomly. Traxxas support said to contact the retailer. They said it is likely a bad power module. I was quite disappointed with Traxxas customer support. Thank you for an excellent video by the way.

@@briancrawley8440 - If you have a pro-line light kit installed you will not be able to plug in a GPS module. XOSS brand bike GPS is a reasonable replacement. If the lights do not show up in the Traxxas app try rebooting the vehicle. It seems the light portion of the app takes a moment to register. I'm working on more videos because it may benefit someone and keep them from making a mistake. Mistakes cause point deductions and reduce resale value. A perfect stock X0-1 or stock Tactical Unit are still highly valued. That's if you didn't want the X-Maxx. It seems the most common issue is shocks.

@@zeekmx1970 Thank you for your response. The light section of the app does come eventually. There is no pattern as to how it is triggered. Perhaps a firmware update is required. Hoping to get the winch next.
