Living on the little Spokane I opted for the proboat jet boat. Needed self righting. I think that wide body is my next purchase. Great videos!

My first real boat I ended up getting as a TFL genesis. Catamarans are just so stable and the TFL is damn impressive. I did buy a proboat 17 brushless a couple months before and it just kept having issues. I’d say the M41 you had was some sort of l defective being you blew a motor that quickly.

@@FivoNine You have ruined the driving experience for a lot of people that want to buy a boat. Your skills suc, and you should have practiced for a few years before comparing boats. Neither of you can drive a boat with this type of power. Maybe you should stick with crawlers instead. This video was a POS. You got the views, because most of us thought you would prove something. By this video you have proven both of these boats are junk, because your did not posses the skill to drive them.

Fun watching yall bash these boats! Where did you place the batteries in the Spartan? Makes a huge difference in the handling. I run mine within an inch of full forward. Handles GREAT! Middle position is for extremely smooth water and rear is for experimental running and perfect tuning along with smooth water.

The o fivo, have you tried doing the thin with the spartan where you take the Velcro straps and move them up so it transfers the weight up more so at top speed it doesn’t loose stability and start to wheeli or in other terms just start to come up and act like a rocket ship, If so move them upwards to the front more of the boat and the battery’s will make the weight keep it down jn the front

Yea I had the battery as far as I can get them and it would still pull up sometimes, I'll try messing around a little more

Ok, so the spartan gets up in plane faster from a dead stop but can't handle the higher speeds as easily as a M41. Can this be fixed with tuning of the trim tabs and prop angle/depth? The better way to compare the two would be to tune them as best as you can and GPS their top speed, analyze their handling characteristics, things like that. I have a M41 and with zero tuning out if the box with stock prop and some not so powerful batteries, I GPS'd it at 49mph. Have you done this yet?

+1 on the trim tabs and stinger/prop angle/depth At least get them "set-up" to run at optimal performance or personal preference performance.

My m41 cracked by the stabilizers. Never crashed it. So mine just takes in water. Traxxas said they’ll cover half

Idea: buy 10-15 boats, and try waterski behind them 😅

They both Do not have it unfortunately

You are both rookies and both boats are setup badly , but this video is good for what to expect out off the box.

m41 is heavier than the spartan which is why it jumps off the line a bit slower

If anybody is really trying to buy a boat, get a SonicWake v2 i’m pretty sure as of now it’s like the best all-around boat. Slap a 160 amp in it and they can do 8s right away.

Looks almost like bear lake in the first clip. Maybe I’ll run into you guys out there eventually

Obviously Xmaxx, the db xle is mor of a race truck, heavier, therefore less durable and less nimble than the xmaxx. The fun factor of the xmaxx is over 9000.

I got my wife the sonic wake , so she can crash n go all day , I would love to have u call me sometime , watch you tube guys called DCRR from London I believe we should have a big Spokane show n go day like they do ! If you won't do it I'm gunna , get some of these rich rc guys to come out of there hiding spots , big five scales and everything else, I know it would exsplode , there's a ton of guys wanting to do this , just need some organizing, ,😅🤣😂😜 I can't even get past half throttle on miss gieco , without going airborne , ya always go with the catamaran boats on rough water they stay planted better , my 48 is really good on ruogh waters , drop me a note , if you want to do this thing , your the filming part of the day if you want to , this would be a blast twice a summer each year ,I'll do it you don't want to , watch for info , love to have you participate

What happen to M41's motor? How did u fix that?

Usually you can change the bearing but mine was so bad I just ended up getting a new motor
