I have the new traxx and I made the back shocks as stiff as possible and it helped on the acceleration

Great job another awesome video!! With the big rock it’s like you can’t take your finger off the throttle when jumping or it nose dives…

Yeah its a bit nose heavy even with the batteries all the way back so you have to stay on it I need to turn the punch back up so I can just give it a quick blip then it will make the front come up more and wont have to stay on the throttle

I own the sledsge and am tempted to buy Big Rock. Yetthe 6S Kraton looks cool af too. idk. My local Hobby shop has Big Rock now, so...?!Excellent video. I am grateful. ty Happy trails.

Bought a sledge. Its a lot of fun, but the foam fell apart on the tires after 5 runs and i keep loosing a screw pin. The screw pin is $3.50 for a pack of 6, but traxxas wants $65 to ship them to Canada. I asked their support about just throwing it in an envelope, and they told me if i didn't want to pay the $65 that i should go search the field for the screw. They had a lot of smart ass responses. Completely unreasonable, support is terrible and listen to the other reviewers who say they won't buy traxxas ever again.

That sucks I have had mine almost 2 years now no problems with the tires I did break one screw pin on the rear control arm but that has been it. That is highway robbery for shipping!! There has to be a hobby shop in Canada that has it? I agree support sucks when I bought this they cut the antenna lead told me I had to wait for it to be in stock I said take the car back they wouldnt thats b.s. new car was broke and now I have the maxx slash I told them it handled like crap it has issues they said it was too powerful hmmm same system as the Sledge but it was the sevo saver is junk it has zero pressure wheels wont stay straight then I said the tsi is not working they wanted me to mail in my transmitter and receiver at my cost they were clueless to ask if the light on the receiver was blinking meaning tsi is off press the bind button for 2 seconds light stays on tsi is active how do they not know. I still think they have good products but no service after the sale then insulting me nope I was about to get the new boat but I will get one from another company

Man love the arrma but a got traxxas maxx now i bpught hobbywing combo. I think with 6s would be close to be incontrollabile

Seems like the punch should be turned up on the big rock to make it more evenly compaired cause seems like alot of traxxas are more punchy from factory ....

actually Traxxas is a bit soft on the throttle thats why a lot of people will swap out the esc. Its just an initial takeoff then it hits I believe the punch was turned up on the Big Rock at this point if you go too high it will just wheelie and backflip lol.

I want to get both, but the arrma body seems heavy at 2lbs, strong of course. They both look like a lot of fun.

It carries the weight of the body fine it has plenty of power. I enjoy both of them no problems out of either now that Spectrum pushed the new esc software.

Good comparison run. Both trucks are quality rigs. I like the Arrma because its heavy so much more stable on rougher hilly ground and it wheelies less. More power on the ground more of the time, Your field test area seemed very flat. Enjoyed watching.

You can have fun with the smaller rc's as well don't let the price of these keep you out of the hobby

stock for stock the big rock is far better imo. My slege had a lot of problems. The big rock has surprised me with the abuse it has taken for a stock truck.
