I just recently got into the hobby and I started out with the mini crawlers in the form of an trx4m high trial f-150.... absolutely loved it. I then saved up for a high trail edition trx4 72 blazer. It's awesome on the rocks and trials. I figured I wanted to give the bashing a try... picked up a rustler 4x4 bls-2.... then picked up snd arrma 3s big rock...... and just other day I got my hands on a brand new still In the box maxx v2 monster energy edition! I absolutely love it but have kinda been babying it cause I'm scared to damage it. After watching this video I'm ready to send it 💯💯

The traxxas maxx is definitely on my list. I've been hesitant but recently that maxx v2 has been growing on me. I got started in the rc hobby with the traxxas slash and it hasn't let me down. Only haf to change the shocks n tires. I've owned it for 2 yrs.

Had and OG brushed e maxx years ago broke the frame in freezing weather regret not fixing it ready to get back in the game maxx v2 definitely a fitting replacement

Absolutely loved this! Everything from the review of the maxx to music while the maxx was being driven! I have been fighting myself on getting a Maxx for quite some time now! It will be my 3rd RC car and I don’t want it to be a shelf queen like the others. I must admit that the shelf sure looks nice! xD

fyi I think there's one mote part they have different/you need if you want to upgrade- the extended center drive shaft

Is the telemetry built-in in the esc?, all you need is the bt brick on the back?

Great review, appreciate the Canadian content. I love the V2, it is an absolute beast of a truck. Do you recommend changing out factory shock oil? If so, what level…60 or 70?

Thanks! The ideal shock oil will depend on how you drive the truck. Heavier oil is better for big jumps, but can negatively affect handling on rough terrain. Lighter oil will usually ride smoother but also causes more chassis slap on landings. The best thing to do is try a few different ones and see what you like the feel of.

We had a few of the older ESCs in the V1 trucks go bad, but this particular V2 has been fine so far.
