Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This is a bunch of cosmetic upgrades, and a few performance upgrades you can do to your Traxxas Bigfoot. I show you what you can get, and then some installation on some of the parts. Please let me know how I can do better, and what you think and have in your collection :) Hope you enjoy!

Great video! I received this truck for Christmas. I referenced the video to perform my upgrades to the steering blocks and shock caps. I'll eventually perform upgrades to the rest of the underbody - but was really impressed overall with your supplemental instruction. The only area where I really wish you could have spent a brief second on was removing / installing the e-clamps on the steering block shaft. I successfully lost one on each side: One time taking off and the other trying to put it back on. Overall though - this was a great tutorial. Thank you!

No, dont have mine anymore unfortunately. But ive had multiple stampedes, slashes and traxxas RC. Only thing I would say if the only motor upgrade worth doing in my opinion is brushless. Excess gearing on the brushed motors puts to much strain on them and it will probably die faster. Have to buy replacement motors more often@@RageeRC

+1 Thought about getting a bigfoot as well, I see a lot of people dumping $$ into brushless or bearing upgrades, and I was wondering can't I put a Bigfoot body & Wheels and tires and put them on a Stampede VXL? Plus you get TSM radio with it.

I’m in the same boat with that thinking. I want the Bigfoot just to have it in my lineup, but I love the speed of my Stampede VXL. I was at the hobby shop the other day looking at the Bigfoot, and the guy there took the body off it and it set perfectly on the Stampede VXL mounts. 😮 The Bigfoot body looks much wider so it didn’t think it would. They carry the wheels and tires for $30 each front and rear. It ticks me off the body is $80, but what’re you going to do? lol

I could also drive the Bigfoot as it comes. It’s going to be a pavement princess/display truck for me as I want to keep the body mint. Could me worth spending the extra $120 in my case.

I am thinking of getting the BigFoot. I was told its just a slash frame anyways. What do you like best about your Yruck? I want something that can handle payhways through the woods, medium grass, roots and leaves,do you think the Big foot would be best? I have a dromida truggy that is really fast but gets hung up easily on sticks and stuff, not really good for the woods.

  • @AtAlex

scott firman mine (not Bigfoot no1, but Bigfoot) works excellent on grass and mud, especially with lipo :). I haven't really drove it in the woods but I believe it will work just fine bcause of the big wheels. Small tip, never land a jump while driving, this will break your car, happened to me. Ask me more questions if you got any :).

It's not a slash frame that's for sure. I'm pretty sure it's a Stampede frame. In fact some of the Bigfoots can take Stampede bodies without any modding.

Those were steering links you put on the front, not the camber links. Get some 5X8 MM flat fiber washers to put in behind the wheel hex to tighten up the slop between the hex, and the steering block. I put 2 on each corner on mine, and it took away a lot of the slop in them. And put those same flat washers between the steering block, and castor block to take out the slop in the steering. You should have put the bearings, and axle back in the steering block before you put it back on the truck. And replace those plastic wheel hexes with aluminum ones, will keep from stripping them. I went with all RPM parts on my truck, but I went with all black parts instead of the blue. But of course, it's all a matter of preference.
