I’m not sure if they will, based on the current status of parts availability most likely this will be a promotional rig. Or it’s because due to unique platform they may not want their parts out yet to be copied, hard to say.

@@stuwest3653 I feel as if this is true if we apply previous snap on models in this case. They will probably produce this car but if course in it’s own livery and perhaps that will drop the model price? The promotional offering is hard to go off of since it’s a brand new platform unlike the previous slash/Xmax & other “snap on” vehicles.

It needs a driver and a sound module. I hope Traxxas releases a nonspecial addition. That thing is sick! Thanks for sharing with us!

Another RC channel was saying after talking with someone at traxxas that the snap on edition vehicles are a big profit on their own, they wouldn't need a production run to justify them. But everyone wants one of these so I wouldn't doubt a full run comes.

I’m not a Traxxas fan but damn, I want that.

I would love to see this as a production kit. Used to race stock sprint in Antioch California back in the mid 90’s with a Custom Works Sprint Car. Would love to see a vintage class.

So lucky to get one! This is easily one of the most interesting RC cars in years!

I was going to say I would be worried replacement parts will be almost nonexistent but very cool Traxxas is going to send them out as needed. Traxxas is money hungry so based on the views this video is getting they will make a mainstream version. Great video.

I don't know about the best looking Traxxas yet....It's cool, but I would choose any other Traxxas b4 that... Especially if it's actually valued at 500 + like he said, Much better Traxxas options for that kind of money, It's a novelty it's a shelf Queen, and that's fine for some people and not for others....

They will sir. They wouldnt go out of their way to create a brand new platform and development for just a few replicas . Eventually they will bring it out for mass production.

For 1000 bucks online is price gouging. Id pay 200 for this like you said, it cant just be a snap on exclusive for long. Everyone wants one of these since it was discovered. You can make race classes out of this vehicle

This is definitely not 1:6 scale! Absolutely not!!! Rather 1:10 - 1:12 scale. These were huge cars, believe it or not. They often boasted 10-15l displacement engines and were sometimes over 5 meters long.

Thats sick bruv i knew snap.on did more than just tools like clothing, boots, etc but this was awesome pal.

Does traxxas offer a camera driven model with FPV? Asking because I own E-Maxx’s I bought 25 years ago and added brushless motors too. I just remember it becoming a small dot in the distance. Of course back then it was no issue but as I age would be cool to have a DJI style remote where you could see it when it’s off in the distance

Well it's just not like the other cars either it's pretty much a shelf queen, idk maybe you could find some applications but look at what all you get with a 4s Maxx for same price and what all you can do. It's pretty overpriced. But if that's your thing, that's your thing. I couldn't ever really get into Traxxas specialty cars.

Now add a driver and a small servo to turn the steering wheel :-) Looks amazing! Hope, Traxxas sells it some day as a non-special edition!

I hope they would have a nitro version, like that will look as a replica

If you break or burn up the tires, a set of 2.2 4wd buggy fronts would probably fit on all 4 corners. Go old school and do a set of knobby pin tires there still around.
