Travis was being transported from the dog trainer in Iowa. Upon delivery, the transporter opened up the door gate before securing the pet with a leash and Travis bolted form the truck and into the woods. Travis was chased and tracked for two days before spotting in a local solar farm. Since the new pet owner Kristin did not have a relationship bonding time yet the dog was unresponsive to verbal calls. We decided the best course of action was using a trap. Travis hunkered down for the night and I informed them he won't go into the trap until morning unless flushed into that area. It was decided to leave him and hope for the best. The trap was checked every two hours by the owners. After the last check I arrived at sunrise and launched and as I predicted it was in the trap. New pet mom was excited and happy ending to a very traumatic two day search.
