I’ve been an avid supporter of yalls show for years, but to hear y’all say Connor hasn’t talked badly about JaNa actually sent me into a spiral. Please go back and rewatch those episodes. They way Connor purposely rated JaNa’s kiss low, threw shade in his recoupling speech at her by saying it was an “easy decision”, made side comments at her in challenges when she was trying to maintain the peace between the girls. We are clearly watching a different show. Connor absolutely played JaNa and she called it from jump. She was invested in him and worried that Leah’s intentions weren’t pure. Come on ladies I expected better.

Connor has been so unnecessarily nasty to Jana and constantly makes little jabs at her. In bed, Leah said “I’m not a cuddler, I’m not Jana” and he goes “I’m glad you’re not.” 🙄 Saying it was an “easy decision” to pick Leah during his recoupling speech and not taking Jana’s feelings into account whatsover after he had just freshly dumped her. Cackling with Leah after the kissing challenge when he bragged that he gave Jana a 7 on purpose because he “had to throw shade” at her…it felt like he was trying to embarrass her or “humble” her and it was just mean. It’s perfectly fine for him to move on, but you don’t have to go out of your way to be rude while doing it. It’s like he thinks if he can shit on Jana to Leah enough, it’ll make her like him more. I’m glad it’s not working and she still doesn’t like him haha. And I’m glad that Jana has started making comments back at him because she was very respectful in the beginning. He’s a loser. Love this season though, very entertaining! Best USA season hands down. It’s up there with UK seasons 2 and 5 for me.

I like when celebrities recognize that their private life being kind of public is just part of the job. If you want a private life, go do another job. The invasion sucks, but that is part of the gig. The did say that, when the discus it, they say JaNa hat their back their whole time and more. Maybe before then they were dique “hiding their relationship” but I see that as a privacy thing so that they could date without being followed or hounded by the press. Zendaya and Tom were also “hiding their relationship” until paparazzi released those photos of them making out in the car, but Ria seems to like that they grant fans and the press occasional access into their relationship by mentioning one another every so often or whatever so they suddenly were never “hiding their relationship” but, they were at one point. It’s different degrees of privacy. Everyone knew that Joe and Taylor were dating at one point so by trying to prevent photos being taken of them were they really tryna “hide their relationship” or maintain privacy? I feel it’s the latter. I wouldn’t want unhinged fans who pose as “body language experts” to dissect photos of me and my partner and create untrue narratives based off them either.

I agree with Fran on love island when the guys have “their girl” go and explore other connections and the guys are just soooo not okay with it compared to the girls. I do still agree with Ria, the girls have a hard time with it too. But I was just thinking in past few episodes that the guys are being so unfair with it since they normally force the free range to talk to other girls. How he talks abt Taylor is very sweet and respectable but w that being said, he is a completely different person; he’s an athlete with an extremely outgoing, sociable personality who likes to entertain the public . Joe was an artist/actor who’s never had a front facing personality in the media, which places context on his approach to privacy and him seemingly wanting the focus to be on his WORK rather than his relationship.
