My first reaction was "huh" too when it came to the US Travis and Taylor engagement article. I can't see a real friend or family saying engagement wasn't even on "his radar." That's harsh. Why not just say, "they're happy where they are right now and enjoying the moment." In fact, that was said before! They could have said it again to shut all the engagement rumors down. BUT the wording in the US article seemed disrespectful towards Taylor. Like, Travis get's to decide everything... They wouldn't decide together? And HE takes marriage seriously - well hell, doesn't she take it seriously too (especially after her last two BF failures) - and maybe SHE isn't on board right now. This article doesn't sound like what I'd expect from any of their friends or family to tell a reporter.

Was coming here to say the *journalist* using term extremely loosely is apparently a Travis anti based on her tweets and life as a fan girl. Us weekly hardly any kind of standard since their idea of breaking news is putting ig captions and mining other people’s work for their *stories*.

I believe that “quote” was first published in early January. A lot can have changed since then.

I think it hyped people up to dislike Travis because of the harsh wording. It put a different kind of pressure on. They could have said nothing, or just said "they're happy right now and enjoying the moment." The end. Now, people are talking about how harsh and rude Travis is... But I don't believe any real friends shared this wording.

We went to Paris last summer in July and the sun set around 11:00pm!
