So glad Kordell told them all to learn the history of CU. It's not just some school, there is history there. There is a reason Sal Aunese is honored with a permanent locker. I like what Kordell said about learning the names of those who came before them. Some of these young guys have to realize that they are carrying on a tradition and preserving a legacy. They should deeply respect and look to take inspirstion and learn from Kordell Stewart and even guys like Pat Dunn and Chuck McCarter who weren’t superstars, but were still winners and are part of that legacy.

I love the energy of their whole team from players to coaches to staff. Def looks like a family more than a football team

Team sports in general are like family.. Ima a 40yr old and I still have extra love when I run across one of my coaches or teammates!! I am losing coaches every season tho!!

1. Game Start: 4/22/23 @ 1pm CU-MDT 2. Temperature at kickoff @40 degrees 3. Parking opens @9am 4. Legend Buff Signing, Folsom Field 5. Buff Merchandise Store, open @9am 6. Only clear bags 12x6x12 allowed/no purses 7. Square seat cushions are allowed 8. Small blankets are allowed 9. Thermal underwear will be comfortable 10. Small towel may be needed 11. Hot Hand (Hands Warmers), keeps them warm for 8 hours 12. Be patient when leaving the facility, it can be slow

If this is the black and gold spring football game it is set for April 27th.

That 94 Team Kordell lead at QB that finished 3rd in the polls with it's only lost to Nebraska I truly believe the difference in that season was Nebraska having the game at home if it's the other way around I believe we are the National Champs that year. We played the toughest schedule that year hosted number 10 Wisconsin in Boulder, went to number 4 Michigan and ya all know the story on that, paid a visit to number 16Texas the following week and won there. Oklahoma and K State back to back games top 25 teams two weeks after the win in Texas. That Nebraska game in Lincoln was brutal still stings to this day I just felt we were a lot better than what showed up on the field that day.

The Steelers loved Colorado players, Deon Figures, Kordell Steward, Charles Johnson, Chad Brown were all drafted from 93-95 either in the first or second round.

@@cprealone I was 13 back in those days they didn't have all these sports networks and the internet to go and watch the game. The Colorado and Michigan game was on pay per view I don't know if you remember or not but ABC had some of the top non region games that you could get on pay per view. Well lol I didn't get to watch the game but I listened to it and when I heard Keith Jackson say Touchdown! Caught by Westrbrook for a touchdown Incredible! I turned to ESPN as soon I could to wait for the highlights. The feel of how College football today is not the same as it was in the early to late 90's I just feel like the games back then had more of a tradition to them.

Hagan's record as starting QB is unparalleled. Kordell is the most talented QB ever at CU but Hagan is the GOAT at CU.

Love seeing the alumni. When I was at CU, Kordell's girlfriend was in my organic chemistry lab. We'd get out of lab at 9pm and Kordell was there every week waiting for her to walk her home. A true leader and gentleman, and one of the Mt. Rushmore of Colorado Football. I'd love to see the Buffs honor Rashaan Salaam at the spring game with all the alumni present.

Get that man on staff ASAP!!! Kordell Stewart personifies and exudes the same commitment to greatness as Coach Prime. He was a severely underrated player during his NFL career. I watched Kordell (slash) play for the Steelers back in the day. He was good... sometimes DAMN good! Not a Steelers fan, but liked him as a player.... did not know a lot about him. But now, WOW... never knew his strong passion... so real... coming through a KZread screen. God bless you sir... wow.
