I feel sorry for the actor who played the grown up Eli. Must’ve been hard for him and pick up the final parts of the story. Props to him though because he did a great job 👍🏻👍🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🥊🥊

I agree. Both actors who played Eli were fantastic. Huge shoes to fill but old Eli did it beautifully and seamlessly. Best drama I've ever watched.

Yep, the "warm up the Datsun" got an out loud laugh from me. Fucken Classic! 😆 What a totally brilliant & absorbing series! Laughed, cried & was fully engrossed. The authenticity of sets, language etc was spot on. The cast & acting by all was superb! The music score was classic stuff too. Easy 9/10 from this Gen X 👍👍👍

Great series Im loving it so far. I grew up in Sydney in the 80s but in the westie part of town so I can relate to the language and the dero culture. Also the Vietnamese attitude at the time towards Aussies. I recall a lot of kids my age who were houso kids had a drop-kick step dad who was dealing drugs or a crim. haha and the swearing was on point. I hardly swear these days so I was "clutching my pearls" at first but then i remembered vividly how swearing was everywhere growing up, especially with teen boys Elis age. F'ken oath.

I'm from Brisbane, the swearing seemed normal to me. No issue there, but I picked up a few errors, the RBH shot was not the RBH, mother's wardrobe was not 70s, the magpies should have been butcher birds and kookaburras, and we never said shits and giggles. Also, we had no africans in Brisbane then, the asians were chinese hard workers. We had the white Australia policy til 73. Great show, very addictive, sad it finished, loved the cars.

3:05 It takes 20 seconds to ask a generalised question about 'overarching themes'. If it's an overarching theme, it should be quite clear. Or, Travis Fimmel was just a bit tuckered out or maybe his seat was uncomfy or anything else that's possible. Aside from that, I thought the interviewer was charming, brings light, and was presented really well! Anyway, absolutely phenomenal show!!!! :D
