    Some years ago I dated a man who was like her. Possessive, jealous etc. I started seeing the red flags about 3 months into our relationship. I had close friends warning me about the guy. By the grace of God I listened. Told him my company offered me a better position with a pay raise but I would have to relocate to another state. He said he was not going to uproot his life for any woman (ugh never asked you to) In my head I felt so relieved. Over the next few weeks I searched for a new apartment and changed my phone number. That was pre cellphones. My manager and coworkers were aware of my situation. I really dodged a bullet.

    Jodi is borderline. I know a really good guy who married a girl with borderline personality disorder. Kind, faithful, hard working dude and she made his life a nightmare. She would barely let him leave the house and daily accused him of cheating even though he never was. She tracked everywhere he went and every penny he spent. They went to the beach on a vacation one time and he said he was scared to look up from the sand because he knew if he did, she would accuse him of gawking at other women and berate him for it. He eventually got away from her somehow. Last I heard they were separated and she was seeing a counselor. Glad he didn’t end up like Travis.

  • @Kristin2885
    @Kristin2885 Жыл бұрын

    When you decide to demote someone from 'serious relationship' to 'F-buddy' status, even if they say they're cool with it, proceed with caution. Jodi was biding her time, putting on her happy face, and using sex to convince him no virginal Mormon girl could ever make him happy. If a person has mental health issues like she did (BPD) added into the mix, it can be very dangerous. Clean breaks are always best when intense feelings are/were involved. And in this case, she showed him time and time again that she was unhinged and yet he kept charging forward at the red flags like a bull. There's obviously no justification for what she did, but there are certainly lessons to be learned from this tragic case. When it comes to both men and women, forget the whole 'crazy in the head, crazy in the bed' lure, it's just not worth it.

Look at the autopsy photos, the gash on his neck was so vicious it looked like it was yawning. Describing the wounds she inflicted with words alone doesn't get across how violent it was. She's extremely calculating and manipulative, she only cares about getting away with what she did. Every word from her mouth is to cover her ass. Combined with how vicious she is, it's a good thing she's locked away so she can't hurt anyone else. This guy though, what a toxic situation. It was insane for him to keep seeing and sleeping with his crazy stalker but he didn't deserve that.

    She is evil and a sociopath. She really should have received the Death Penalty. On that note, Travis wasn’t an honorable man. He wanted to marry a virgin, but have a slut on the side. He should not have been massacred, but I’m glad everything came out about his character. He used trips to seduce women. If he would have slept with Mimi, she would be another notch on his belt, then to the next one.

She has a very fictitious life she leads on Facebook to appear normal to her distant friends but anyone close would realize how messed up she is. Jodi's lawyer kept saying during his closing "It don't make any sense..?" He was right, why did she keep fucking around instead of getting right to the killing? And why did she kill him like she did (like Ted Bundy)? However, Travis's messages ("If people knew what I know they would spit at you" "your evilness" "you betrayed me, you're the worst thing" etc;) are saying something sinister without actually revealing what it is. Whenever examinations got close to the messages, Jodi's defense table would create nonsensical distractions. She went to great lengths to execute this man like a true phychopath and cover her trail, but had some slip ups. Jodi's lawyer is again correct that she's normally too smart for the screw ups. But she was desperate for some reason, and it wasn't because she was rejected by Travis. It was for something truly evil that only Travis Alexander knew about. And that secret died with him, and likey killed him - she saw to that.

    He asked her to. She even changed religions for him and he was at her conversion ceremony. I know the media and his family are presenting her as crazy and certainly she is, but don't think for a minute he did not play a part in that. He constantly played mind games and played with her emotions. To say he had nothing to do with her snapping is ignorant. He wasn't a boy scout. He called her "the three-holed wonder" like she was some inanimate object and that was probably one of the nicer things he said about her. If he really didn't want to be with her, he should have told her instead of pretending their relationship was going somewhere only to break it off in a cruel way. I feel bad for him and his family that he was murdered. No one deserves that, but no one deserves to be treated like he treated her either and I don't think anyone can expect to treat someone that way forever with no repercussions.

    People love to say she's the problem. She's psycho this and that and she IS. However,Travis made some very crucial mistakes. After they broke up she moved to the area he lived in which freaked him and his friends out. She then moved back home with her family and he proceeded to s e xt with her. That was his oppurtunity to cut off ALL contact. He kept stringing her along making her believe they had something that just wasn't there. He played with fire & he got burned. That shower door was closed until the very last profile photo. Look at the water drops on his face then look to the left. You can clearly see a water droplet on glass. It looks like it is suspended in mid air. I am really surprised that defense didn't point that out. It proves she lied about him posing for the pics. Jodi left the house that day, snuck back in and managed to take those shower pics without him even knowing she was back in the house. The picture of him standing in the shower and looking to his left with a shocked expression is when he realizes she is there.
