Hi from Ireland 🇮🇪. The name Roisin...has an accent ( a fada in Irish) over the 'o' and the 'i' at the end. The Irish translation means 'Little Rose', and it is pronounced Row-sheen. Great channel.

Nice video - I note you have a frame around your outboard on the little boat- Try making a TEMPORARY ply rudder, and clamp it onto the frame, then lock your outboard at straight ahead position and see if it steers better with the rudder. A project for the better weather perhaps - Bless you all - John

Hi I am glad to see you are all safe and well 😊 I would like to thank you for taking the time to produce such wonderful videos ot your life living on the canals of this country.. They have brought back fond memories of my life on the canals.. I lived on a narrow boat for over fifty years and enjoyed every minute of it.. unfortunately I had to leave the narrow boat life behind because of my health .. Issues.. how ever thanks to you and a few others . the memories of my life keep flooding back . There are a few things that I miss . one being the community spirit that abounds on the canals. The sense of belonging is something that you will always remember no matter what you decide to do in the future.. I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas 🎄🍺🍺 and a happy new year to you all..

I love those awesome old book stores...I used to go to one in Cirencester all the time. Found a huge 1912 engineering book... It was about the floating Dry-Dock for the Titanic. It had all the design plans and drawings in that book. Like an idiot I blew off the £125 asking price... When you're young and dumb. Lol

I'm loving these Derbyshire vlogs, many childhood holidays spent in the areas you visited. My family originate in Belper. There is Lander Lane named after my ancestors! Good very earlycmorning darling daughter. Can't remember if I told you before, but Grandad Bell used to be treasurer of the Cromford canal society. He and Granny used to go on holidays walking the canals. They once did the Leeds-Liverpool. I had about 3 more things I wanted to say, but as I was being a frozen nightwatchman on the Christmas market hhere in Requena, Spain lastnight I am very tired, and I have completely forgotten what I was going to say.xxxx
