Just my input on how I start making a TRAVELLER game.

Thanks for sharing this. Just finding Traveller so seeing how experienced Refs prepare is really valuable.
Check out my Holowon sector. A sector away from the Solomani Confederation. Currently working on Lubbock as well.
I wish something like this would be for gurps space

in general you can convert as GURPS has conversion material out there... but I suppose that is older GURPS? compared to a newer GURPS? GURPS has gone through many changes, I would go to the older GURPS Traveller material as it's pretty rich in setting material.
That world map generator site is kind of cool. Just don't view Earth with it though. Orbital Period: 316 days?

Looks at 5 year old Intel computer that is considered to of the line for the military.
