I just left Cebu after a year there. The experience you had when arriving in Malaysia with the immigration officer is the norm. The experience you have with the Filipino immigration is ABNORMAL. I’m an American citizen and they give me a hard time. I also had to get an exit clearance. Never had to do that in my life and the sixty other countries. I want to bring my Filipina gf here. She has a valid passport.

The difference between Malaysia and many other countries particularly the ASEAN countries is that Malaysia values Tourism, hence once our immigration officials feel you meet the minimum requirement, they will stop interrogating you and simply let you enter Malaysia.

Yep. You are absolutely right -- sometimes it is really a way to hard to leave your own country then to enter another one.

Hello po. Hindi po ako sure paano ito. If wala pong work si tita niya po, baka need niya letter of support from you and documents to prove na relatives kayo ang copy ng ticket mo din sa malaysia. I’m not really sure how will this work po 😔
