TRAVELING BY TRAIN IN ACCRA GHANA |This is what happened on my Accra Train Ride | GHANA RAILWAY
#traininghana #ghana #tematrainstation
In today's vlog I took the TRAIN FROM TEMA TO ACCRA GHANA.
MY TRAIN RIDE was interesting.
The train ride system has two classes, the first
class and second class.
The first class ticket is 7 cedis / 105 usd
The Second class ticket is 5 cedis / 75 usd
The first railway in what was then the Gold Coast opened in 1903 between the harbour at Takoradi and Tarkwa, a distance of some 70km. Its initial function was the transport of heavy mining equipment for use in the industry that was then opening up around Tarkwa.
Present day, Ghana Railway Corporation has expanded the railway lines to different regions in the country and the train system is arguably the most affordable and convenient mode of transportation.
The train system in Ghana has been in operation for 5 years now and it operates morning and evening.
It is fair to say that the TRAIN RIDE IS THE CHEAPEST TRANSPORTATION IN GHANA.
I will love everyone to have this experience.
Also, If you want to experience the TRAIN RIDE FROM TEMA TO ACCRA, you need to get to the train station as early as 6:15 am.

Is $75 affordable??? Personally I think that’s expensive. How can normal Ghanaians afford ?
@GeneviveDerby

Hi, the fee is not 75 usd

She just converted it from cedis to dollars, doesn't mean that it costs 75 us dollars. Just think of 5 cedis as 5 dollars and you'll understand that it's actually affordable.
